Still in flashback

'Ladies and gentlemen do we have a show for you tonight. First of all thank you all for coming out to see each and every racer here. Next please place your bets on which racer you think will win' the announcer said.

Everybody except us stood up and placed their bets on the different racers. Some took longer than others. While others took their pick swiftly because they were confident that the person they betted on was going to win.

'Your not placing a bet' Hades commented.

'No since this is our first time going to a race I want to see and observe how everyone thinks. Plus I'm not going to waste my money on placing a bet that i have a slight chance I might win so' I said shrugging my shoulders.

'Ok now that everyone placed their bets, racers line up on the starting line to start' .

Each racers lined up to the starting line where a girl with skimpy clothes came out. The announcer said some more words that I didn't really care about.

The girl raised her flags and the racers started their engine and made the loud noise to boost their egos. The girl then waved the flags down and the racers were off.

I don't know any of the racers all I know is that we are waiting for each racer to come back. I look over between Hades and Darrius and see both of them hanging on to their seats.

A smile makes its way on to my face knowing I made the boys smile.

Bringing my attention back to the race we all can hear the cars engine letting us know that they are coming back.

The yellow and the blue car are neck and neck and I'm hanging on to my seat to see which one is going to cross the finish line but out of no where the green car zooms past both and crosses the finish line.

The whole crowd went silent you can hear a freaking pin drop. No body moved or made a sound, everyone was still.

Seconds later the place interrupted with cheers. Everybody was clapping and screaming at the top of their lungs.

The racers got out of their cars and made their way over to wherever they came from.

'THAT WAS SOOO FUCKING COOL' Hades shouted at us.

Me and Darrius both nodded our heads yes and Hades kept going on and on about the whole race.

'What if we raced' Darrius said.

'You mean getting us a car and practice street racing or actually try out for those racing competitions' I voiced out.

'Well we can do both, I mean once we build up our money, and besides we gotta do a lot of crazy things before we all go out separate ways' he said.

It brought down my mood just a little bit because after high school we are all going out separate ways. Darrius is going to Russia, Hades is going to Italy and I'm either going to New York or Paris.

The Paris idea was last minute but they don't need to know that.

I quickly put a smile on my face and agreed with whatever he wanted.

Darrius went on and on about how we need to budget a car and then add in a special type of nitrogen so our cars speed will excel.

He was also adding on about how we should enter some of them and see if we can win any money out of them.

The race ended a while after and now we are walking home. The boys kept messing around and play fighting. They double tag team me one time until I pinched both of their asses.

Let's just say they hated that, but anyways they stop including me in their rough houses. We are walking down this alley because Hades decided that we should take a shortcut.

I haven't really said anything just lost in thought until I heard a noise.

'Y'all shut up and listen' I whispered yelled. Hades and Darrius looked at me confused until I put my finger over my mouth telling them to hush.

They hesitantly did it and we heard someone crying?

I made myself closer to the noise because it's someone crying and you just wouldn't want to leave them.

I saw a man who looked to be in his 40's with a chubby belly. I crouched down to his level to make him aware of my presence.

'Pers... pers..... Persephone leave him alone and let's go' Hades whispered yell to me, but me being me I just waved him off.

BIG.FUCKING.MISTAKE.

Hello my lovelies sorry for not updating for so long, it's just writers block is an ass!

Happy Thanksgiving to each an everyone of my readers love you all!

On some good news I'm almost done with school which means it would be a lot easier for me to write!

Also if u notice that I unpublished another book of mine, it's just that I solely wanted to focus on this book!

Also trying to keep up with two books is a lot. Shoutout to all the other authors who are writing multiple stories!!
