Izuku and his horse continue on trotting until he notices they're lost "we should I be close.. maybe we missed a turn somewhere" he mutters to himself as he lifts a lantern up high in his hand to see a sign giving directions to Anaheim and Valencia
"Let's go this way.."
Blue looks to the dark, overgrown path then he turns to go to the left towards a much more inviting path
"Come on Blue! It's a shortcut! We'll be there in no time!" Izuku grins happily
Blue huffs out a sound and continues through the dark
"This can't be right. Where have you taken us, Blue we better turn around... woah! Woah boy...woah! Blue, oh! Look out!" Izuku yells as a swarm of bats fly out of a tree. Blue runs through the forest, avoiding everything until he almost runs over the edge of a big cliff
"Back up! Back up! Good boy, steady boy, that's good, woah hey now!"
Blue finally bucks Izuku off and runs away, out of the forest, leaving Izuku there, on the edge of the cliff
"Blue? Blue! Oh shit.." He mumbled, looking over the cliff
Izuku looks up when he hears low growling and goes stiff in fear. He stands up and sees a bunch of wolves. His eyes widening and he makes a run for it. Chased by the pack of wolves.
He stumbles down a hill and lands at the gates of a humongous castle, he grabs the metal bars of the gate to pull himself up and tries shaking it open
"Help! Is someone there? Anyone!?"
As if his plea was heard, the gates open slowly, making an eerie creaking noise as they did and Izuku ran in immediately, slamming the gate in the faces of the wolves, leaving his cloak on the ground as rain had begun to fall, Izuku runs to the castle and bangs on the door desperately, it soon creaks open and he hesitates before cautiously stepping in
"Hello? Hello?" Izuku calls out to see if anyone were here
A clock and a candle watch the man walking around, barely whispering to each other "Broccoli must have lost his way in the woods" the candle mumbles to his friend
"Keep Quiet! Maybe he'll go away, not another word, Kami" the small clock whisper yells to his friend
"Is someone there?!" Izuku yells throughout the castle
"I don't mean to intrude but I've lost my horse and I need a place to stay for the night" Izuku pleads
Kami looks at his clock friend like a child just found a lost puppy "Oh Iida. Have a heart"
Iida glared at his companion "shush! Just... shhh" he puts his hand over Kami's mouth who promptly touches his flame on his hand
"Ow! Ow! Owwwww!" Iida groans and tries stopping Kami from saying anything but was to late
"Of course sir! You are welcome here!" Kami says in a polite voice
"Who said that?!" Izuku jumps when hearing the voice, looking around in confusion "Who said that?" He walks over and picks up the candlestick, not knowing the speaker was in his hand
Kami taps Izukus shoulder "over here!"
Izuku looks behind him cautiously "Where?"
Kami sighs and taps him on the shoulder, Izuku spins around fast and holds Kami out to see who was there
Kami held back a laugh and taps Izuku on the side of the head and Izuku winced, looking at Kami
"Hello!" Kami waves his candle hand
"Ah!" Izuku screeches, droppinh Kami to the ground "incredible" Izuku mumbles
Iida sighs and hops over to them "Well now you've done it, Denki! Splendid. Just Peachy- ahh!" He huffs when Izuku had picked him up
"How is this accomplished" Izuku mutters to himself quietly
"Put me down! At once!" Iida scolds the man but started to laugh once Izuku started poking and prodding at him, Izuku continues to mutter to himself and messing around with the talking clock and opens the front of Iida
"Sir, do you mind! Close that at once!"
"I am sorry, it's just that I've never seen a clock that.. ah...ahh..choo!" The man sneezes in the face of Iida who proceeds to wipe his face off using his clock hands in a very anachronistic windshield wiper manner. Izuku sniffles, indicating the cold he has caught from being in the rain.
"Oh my! You are soaked to the bone! Come warm yourself by the fire" Kami says in a rush
"Thank You so much" Izuku smiles and they head towards the den, with Iida running after them.
"No! No! Do you know what master will do if he finds you here!" Iida whisper yells
In a dark part of the castle, a monstrous beast was watching the action in a hallway and rushes off as the trio enters the den
"I demand you...stop...right...there!" Iida pants from climbing stairs, but no one listens and Izuku enters the den with Kami, taking a seat in a big chair, infront of a roaring fire
A footstool rushes past Iida, barking up a storm "I'm not seeing this! I am not seeing this!" Iida mutters to himself
As the footstool runs up to Izuku, he smiles "Well, hi there boy" he giggles when the footstool shimmies under his feet
"All right, this had gone on long enough! I am in charge here and-" before he finishes he's ran over by a tea cart that held a teapot by the name of Ochaco Uruaka.
"How would you like a nice spot of tea, sir? It'll warm you up in no time" She spoke and pours some tea into her small cup son, which hops over into Izukus hand
Iida sits up abruptly "no! no tea!"
As Izuku takes a sip from the cup. It started to giggles "haha, mommy it tickles!"
Startled by the Cup, Izuku pulls it away from his mouth "Oh! Hello there"
The door to the den slams open suddenly and a strong gust of wind blows into the room, extinguishing Kami's flames and the fire in the fireplace. Iida dives for cover. Uruaka begins to shake and her son jumps back onto the tea cart and takes refuge from behind his mother
"Uh oh" the child cup whispers from behind Uruaka
a monstrous beast enters. He is on all fours, looking around in the darkness, he growls lowly and dangerously "There's a stranger here"
Kami, who relit his flames started to talk to the beast "Master, allow me to explain. The gentleman was cold and wet.." Kami's last sentence is drowned out by a very loud growl of the beast, which puts out his flames once again and Kami looks down, dejected.
Iida comes up from under a rug he was hiding under "Master, I'd like to take this moment to say...I was against this from the start. I tried to stop them, but would they listen to me? No, no, no!" Again, The Beasts growl drowns out Iida
"Who are you!? What are you doing here?!" The Beast growers at the man sitting in his chair
Izuku gulps, very afraid and backing away from the beast who was coming toward him "I was lost in the woods and..." He stares at the beast who was advancing on him
"You are not welcome here!"
"I'm sorry" Izuku apologizes "What are you staring at!?" The Beast growls lowly
"N-No-Nothing!" Izuku mumbles and turns to leave
The Beast races forward, blocking the door with amazing speed "so you've come to stare at the beast, have you?"
"Please, I meant no harm! I just needed a place to stay" Izuku gulps, more afraid than ever
"I'll give you a place to stay!" The Beast yells.
He picks up Izuku, carrying him out of the room and slams the door, plunging the den, along with Iida, Kami, Ochaco and Ochaco's son into darkness.
