In the village, outside of The Midoryias place stood Shigiraki and his tiny companion, Mineta

"Heh! Oh boy! Misery is gonna get the surprise of her life, huh Shiggy." Mineta laughs

Shigiraki smirks "Yep. This is her lucky day!"

Shigiraki lets go of a branch, which swings back and hits Mineta in the mouth. Shigiraki turns to the band, wedding guests and others, apparently just out of sight of Misery's cottage.

"I'd like to thank you all for coming to my wedding. But first, I better go in there and... propose to the girl!"

Some of the crowd laugh heartily and some girls were crying their eyes out. To Mineta

"Now, you Mineta. When Misery and I come out that door--"  He starts to explain..

"Oh I know, I know!" Mineta turns and begins directing the band in "Here Comes the Bride."

Shigiraki slams a baritone over his head.

"Not yet!"

Mineta,From inside the instrument, with his lips sticking out the mouthpiece. Mumbles  "Sorry!"

Inside the small cottage, Misery is sitting in a chair reading her new book when there is a knock at the door. She puts the book down and walks to the door. She reaches up and pulls down a viewing device. She peeks through and sees an anachronistically accurate fish-eye view of Shigiraki. She groans, and pushes the door open.

"Shigiraki, what a pleasant....surprise"

"Isn't it though? I'm just full of surprises. You know, Mise. There's not a girl in town who wouldn't love to be in your shoes. This is the day..." Shigiraki pauses by a mirror and licks his teeth clean. "This is the day your dreams come true."

"What do you know about my dreams, Shigiraki?"

"Plenty. Here, picture this." Shigiraki plops down in the chair and props his mud-covered feet up on Misery's book. He begins to kick off his boots and wiggle his toes through his hole-y socks.

"A rustic hunting lodge, my latest kill roasting on the fire, and my little wife, massaging my feet, while the little ones play with the dogs."

Misery looks positively disgusted. Shigiraki gets up next to her face. "We'll have six or seven."

"Dogs?"

Shigiraki groans "No Misery! Strapping boys, like me!"

"Imagine that." She picks up her book, places a mark in it, and puts it on the shelf.

"And do you know who that wife will be?"

"Let me think"

Shigiraki corners Misery "You!"

Misery ducks under Shigiraki's arms "Shigiraki, I'm speechless. I really don't know what to say."

Shigiraki pushes chairs and things out of the way until he reaches Misery and traps her against the door "Say you'll marry me."

Misery reaches for the doornob "I'm very sorry, Shigiraki, but I just don't deserve you". She twists the knob and the door opens, this time outward.

She ducks under Shigiraki as he tumbles out the door and into the mud.

The wedding band begins to play "Here Comes the Bride."

Shigiraki's boots are thrown out of the door, now opened inward and the door is slammed shut.

Mineta, who is directing the band, looks down and sees Shigiraki's legs sticking out of the mud, and a Pig's head sticking up. Mineta cuts off the band, and Shigiraki's head pops up, with the pig on top of him. He tilts his head, and the pig slides down his back.

"So, how'd it go?" Mineta asks

Shigiraki Picks up Mineta the neck "I'll have her for my wife, make no mistake about that!" He drops Mineta into the mud.

Shigiraki walks off, dejected, and Misery pokes her head around to see if he's gone

She sighs to herself and talks to her chickens "Is he gone? Can you imagine, he asked me to marry him. Me, the wife of that boorish, brainless... Madame Shigiraki, can't you just see it Madame Shigiraki, his little wife Not me, no sir, I guarantee it I want much more than this provincial life..."

Misery walks into the pen and feeds the animals, then runs off singing into an open field overlooking a beautiful valley,

"I want adventure in the great wide somewhere I want it more than I can tell And for once it might be grand To have someone understand I want so much more than they've got planned"

Blue runs into the open field, Misery looks at him, disturbed that her brother is not with him.

Blue! What are you doing here? Where's Izuku? Where is he, Blue? What happened? Oh, we have to find him, you have to take me to him!"

Misery unhitches the wagon from Blue and he rides off with her on his back

How Blue brought Misery there is a mystery, seeing as Blue never made it to the castle with Izuku

"What is this place?" Misery whispers

Blue snorts, then begins to buck as if something is scaring him. Misery dismounts and comforts him.

"Blue, please, steady."

She enters the gate and sees Izuku's cloak on the ground.

"Izuku..."
