*Izuku's POV*

Stepping out of one of the classrooms that had been converted into one of the testing rooms, I could feel the air rush by me and into the room, the sunlight beaming through the windows, the warmth feeling tingling across my skin.

'Huh...' I began thinking 'Anytime I am in the sunlight, I feel stronger. Almost like the sun itself is giving me energy. Am I a plant?'

I began to walk towards the auditorium, quickly clearing those thoughts from my head before I got distracted. Finding my seat from the note I had been given after the test, I waited as everyone else found their spots. After the last person had sat down, a yellow haired man popped up on the stage.

"Welcome to my show today!" He began screaming.

'That voice, that hair, how could I have missed it!' I screamed at myself through my head. 'That's Present Mic! I used to listen to his radio all the time before I started training.'

"Everybody say HEY!" He screamed, only to be met with silence.

"What a refined response.." He shakenly muttered, before blasting off with just as much enthusiasm as he first started with.

"Well then, I will give you listeners a quick rundown on the practical portion of the exam!" He began screaming again, "Are you ready!"

-Silence-

"Alright.." Present Mic muttered "As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be working under a ten-minute mock battle through one of U.A's many cities!"

"On the back of your notes, you will find a letter corresponding with the "battle centers" that you will be participating in." He shouted

"So in other words," a voice growled next to me, "We aren't able to work with our friends, tch"

Looking over, I could see that Bakugo had been sitting next to me, his red eyes glaring at Present Mic.

"Damn nerd!" He whispered, still growling as he spoke, "Look at my card, and I'll kill you!

Up until that moment, I hadn't even noticed that he had taken his card out.

"You know, if you hadn't even spoken, I wouldn't have had to look at you." I muttered back.

'Where is all this courage coming from?!' I questioned "Just shut up, and pay attention to the information." I said looking away from him again and focusing on Present Mic.

A board lit up behind Mic, as he kept talking. "There are three different types of faux villains that are stationed in each battle-"

An arm shot up like a bullet, before a voice rang out through the auditorium. "May I ask a question?"

"Sure"

"On the printout, it clearly states that there are four types of villains! If this is a typo, then U.A should be ashamed! How would it look, if the most prominent hero school in Japan made such an error like this. It is horrendous!" The robotic man shouted.

The man then turned around, and looked at me.

"And you there," He exclaimed, pointing at me. "You have been talking and disturbing a fellow examinee, it's embarrassing! If you are here just to bother people and make them fail, then you should just leave!"

As those words left his mouth, I felt something rising in my gut. This guy, who had interrupted a Hero, had the nerve to try and yell at me, and had just insulted my pride, I wasn't going to let this stand.

Looking straight into his eyes, making him flinch for some reason, I spoke calmly. "You know, if you hadn't interrupted Present Mic, who had just been telling us about targets we must eliminate in order to gain points, than he would have finished explaining that the last robot, is more than likely going to be a zero pointer, and will just be an obstacle to avoid."

Before the blue haired robot could speak again, Mic stole the spotlight, and began to speak.

"Examinee number 2234 is correct. The fourth villain type will be a zero pointer, he is mostly an obstacle, so to speak. There is one in every "Battle Zone", and it will go crazy in narrow spaces. It's not impossible to beat, but there is no incentive to defeat it either."

"Very well!" The blue haired robot shouted, "Please excuse my interruption."

'This is almost like a videogame...' I thought 'And every game has something that you can exploit, it's just a matter of finding it.'

"That's all from me!" Present Mic began "Now say the school motto with me!"

"Plus ULTRA!"
