Y/N's POV
It was a normal day for me. I walked to school just like every casual day. I held my bag smiling to myself. The weather seemed nice. Not too sunny, not too cold either. Just the perfect balance.
I checked the time just to make sure that I wasn't going to be late on my way to school, but noticed that I had plenty of time ahead.
That's good. As long as I wasn't late. I walked on for a bit longer before finding myself in the street with multiple other students. Some belonged from the same school as me while others did not.
Most of them had one or two friends walking with them to school. This was one of my favourite times.
I would just think to myself. I would talk to myself and I don't know. In a sense, I suppose this was when I worked on myself.
3rd POV
Y/N was walking to school like any other day without being aware of the fact that a guy was following her. A guy who she just met yesterday. Ayato Aishi.
She made her way through the gates and to her shoe locker. After changing her shoes, she went upstairs to the rooftop like every other day. It was a routine by then. She would always go there.
She sat down there on one of the benches and greeted passing by students.
Ayato stayed near the gates taking a picture of Y/N. Poor thing forgot to turn off his phone's system sound as the shutter went off quite loudly.
Y/N immediately looked behind at the gates with an embarrassed Ayato quickly shoving his phone away. He did manage a picture but at what cost? There was now a high possibility that Y/N saw his little attempt and knew very well that he was clicking a picture of her. It was pretty unusual. Wasn't it?
He managed to wave a 'hi'. Y/N smiled melting him completely as she waved back.
Huh, maybe she didn't think he was clicking a picture of her.
Ayato noticed that he was blushing in the open, waving like an idiot. Just as he was about to run away, he felt his hands in Y/N's soft ones. It made him feel butterflies.
"You okay?" She asked gently squeezing his hands a bit. Her eyes were shining with genuine concern. It was different.
"Y-yes! I'm fine!" Ayato said, as he looked away blushing quite a lot. He got nervous as Y/N was that close to him.
Y/N smiled, "Do you...maybe wanna go out for a walk around the school?""Sure," Ayato said managing to smile at Y/N.
"You know..." Y/N blushed, "You do look really cute when you smile, you should smile more often."
Her words made him blush harder. Even a tomato would be jealous at how purely red he was. Y/N giggled.
"Calm down now," She said smiling gently before starting to walk downstairs.
Ayato followed as they chatted about their lives.
Suddenly, a boy came upto Y/N. It was Budo Masuta.
"Y/N, you left your book upstairs on the rooftop."
"Aw, thank you, Budo, that's so sweet of you to return it to me," Y/N took the book from him and bowed slightly in gratitude.
Ayato glared daggers at Budo making him quickly leave.
"Oh, no worries! I gotta run to my club now! You know, club leader duties!-"And with that he as fast as he could. Y/N looked at Ayato.
"Strange, isn't he?" She laughed a little.
Ayato smiled at her, "Indeed."
