Ayato and Y/N sat side to side at a sushi bar. Y/N was dressed up in a white croptop and some flare jeans. Her hair was up in two messy space buns. She sipped some water.
"So, what's been bothering you?"
Ayato asked, concern evident in his eyes.
He waited for her to respond, blood boiling to put an end to anything or anyone bothering Y/N. It hurt him to hear she was worrying.
"Umm... A random number texted me a few days before. And it's been very invading since then. I've been paranoid. I feel-"
Y/N paused abruptly and looked around almost wildly.
"... like I'm being watched. ""That is really hard. And creepy, I must say. "
Ayato's voice was steely when he replied, his face was locked in a cold frown.
"First, I don't know how they got my number. Second, I don't understand how they know my name. Third, it's creepy because I feel...observed!"
Ayato gently held her shoulder.
"It's okay. It's okay. Calm down. You're getting way off board."
Y/N sighed heavily as their food arrived.
"I'm just so so done...I don't understand this..."
Ayato smirked, a plan in mind.
"I think I have an idea."
"Idea?" I asked, looking at him.
"Mhm," he hummed with a smile, "Give me the number, I'll get the number traced."
"Here," I gave him the number from my phone, and he took it down on his, "But how?"
"Oh," Ayato's smile slipped slightly, "You'll see. Meet me tomorrow, I'll let you know what I find."
"You're too sweet," I smiled
TIMESKIP
"Hey, thank you for the talk," I smiled and got on my tip toes giving him a kiss on his cheek, "And the sushi, too."
Giggling, I hopped off with my bag swinging on my shoulder. Ayato was a great friend, a great listener, he had a great heart. He's so sweet, he'd never hurt anyone.
Ever.
