A New Beginning

Chapter 3: Where are these boys?

Y/N was walking down the hallway during lunch time. Everything seemed normal although Y/N was a little worried for Budo. He behaved pretty strange when he encountered her the last time and she just couldn't get it out of her head. Why did he run away so fast?

She gets it. Club leader duties. But even then, Budo has never acted that way to her. It was quite concerning in her opinion.

Given her caring personality, it was hard for her to forget the tiniest weird acts of everyone in her day to day life. She was making her way to the martial arts club.

She was wanting to ask Budo if something was wrong or if he needed help because he left too quickly during their last conversation. She was just genuinely worried.

He never did that. Whenever he and she talked, he always found out quite interesting issues to converse about. It was unlikely of Budo to be so dismissive with her. He was always so lively and friendly.

She held the door and took a deep breath rethinking her words before opening the door. She saw that the room was completely empty. There was no Budo there.

She felt a bit worried. Lunch time was going to end after a few minutes, he should've finished his lunch by now.
She sighed and decided to look around the school for Budo. As she walked out and down the stairs a cooking club member almost bumped into her.

"Would you like some?"

He asked as he showed Y/N the F/F on the tray.

"Of course! These are my favourite!" Y/N lit up as she took one and thanked the student before going down the staircase eating her piece of F/F.

"I wonder where is Ayato? Maybe he knows where Budo is..." Y/N said to herself as she went outside towards the gardening club looking around for atleast one of the boys but got signs of none.

She got shooed away by the delinquents so she ended up in the gardening area. She realized that the incinerator was on. Her eyes squinted a little.

'But it's not cleaning time...' She thought as she walked towards the delinquents.

Having taken a deep breath, she spoke, "Hey, uh, do any one of you know why the incinerator is on? I realized, it is on despite it not being cleaning them yet. So, I thought I'd ask."

They looked confused, but slowly each one of them turned to look at the incinerator and they realized that it was on for real.

"No, we don't...but we do know that a guy came here to dump a big trashbag. Maybe he dumped it in the incinerator. "

Y/N nodded slowly, "Thanks."

"Pftt. Whatever..."

Y/N got out of earshot and mumbled.

"Geez, rude..."

She started making her way to class since it was gonna start soon.

"I wonder where they are..."
