She walks out of her closet in the most beautiful red dress I've ever seen. It's tight in the right places and loose where it needs to be. There's a slit on the side that goes to her upper thigh. "You look amazing, I hardly have words." "Thank you, love. Are you going to wear that or do you want to wear something from my closet."she says grabbing a pair of 4 inch heals and putting them on."I can stop by my house and find something." "Are you sure?" "Yeah, I think I have a clean pair of jeans and a-" "you're not wearing jeans. I'll find you a suit...or would you like a dress?" She cuts me off and asks. "A suit will be fine.

REGINAS POV:
She walks out of my closet and looks more handsome than anyone I've ever seen. "You sure do clean up nice." I say walking twords her. "you think so? I feel weird." "Don't, you look nice." I say giving her a little kiss on the cheek. "Hopefully we get home early and it'll be on the floor." I whisper in her ear. " Oh miss.mills, promises, promises." She laughs. "Let's go, we don't want to be late."
"Are you sure you want me to go?" "What do you mean?" I ask "are you ready for everyone to know? It may seem like a scandal." "I slept with you before I knew you were the sheriff." I laugh. " I've come to realize, it doesn't matter what those people think of me. I know what we are, and as long as I do my job and do it right, everything will be fine."
She smiles and we share a kiss. "That sounds amazing. I'd love to eat dinner with you out in public." She smiles. "Yeah." I laugh.
We walk out the house and to my car. "Where did Katherine day the party was?" I ask as I start up the car. "Ummm, I think she said it was at her place." Emma responds. "Great. I would hate for it to be somewhere big." "Why?" "The smaller the space, the less people will be there." "Why don't you want a lot of people?" Emma asks confused. "I don't have that many friends. With hope it'll just be us and Kathrine." "That's hardly a party." The number of people at a party doesn't make the fun at the party." I laugh. "I'd hate for Kathrine to invite people from the office or random people to make it a better party." I laugh again.
"As long as you're there and happy so will I." Emma says leaning in for a kiss. "we can't kiss right now, I'm driving." I chuckle and shake my head. "we've almost reached our destination, just be a little patient."
We get to kathrines house and I park the car. Emma runs out the car and over to my side. She opens my door and bows as much as she can. " Ma lady." She says while still bowing. She holds out her hand to help me out. I grab her warm and rough hand. She helps me out the car and I laugh. "What's all this for?" I ask. "Tonight is your night, birthday girl. I shall spend it making sure your needs are met." Emma smiles. "That will be unnecessary" I laugh.
I wrap my arms around her neck and pull her close. "How about that kiss you wanted?" I whisper while pulling her closer into a deep and passionate kiss. She puts her arms around my waist and smiles into the kiss.
"Regina royal mills, Get your tongue out of that woman's throat, right now!" I hear a voice say as footsteps approach. I quickly brake the kiss and look for the person the voice came from. All I can see is a shadow walking twords me.
"Mother?"
"Don't look so surprised, my dear. It is your birthday and I did schedule an appointment with you." "You've never cared for my birthday before, and you never showed for your appointment."
"Well I got busy." She laughs. "Screw you mother! What could you possibly want? I haven't seen or heard from you in 8 years." "Don't be stupid, dear. I talk to you when I want to. Don't be upset if I don't want to speak to you all the time." "Bite me." I say grabbing Emma's hand and leading us to kathrines front door. "She seems like everything you said she was." Emma whisper." Yeah she's no angel." I respond and Nock on Kathrines door.
