The sound of knocking makes us panic. We rush to put our clothes back on. Well, her clothes.

I adjust myself and fix my pants. Regina quickly picks up her dress and slides her slim body back into it. "it's me Kathrine. I know you two are having fun in there but this is important." Kathrine says still knocking on the door.

I help Regina find her heals and she steps into them. She puts in her coat and I run my fingers through her hair, fixing it. I then do the same to my hair. She rushes to her desk pulls out a make up bag then quickly walks to her mirror. "You keep make up in here?" I ask confused. "Of course." She smiles while she reapplies lip stick and pounders her nose. I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist. "We do make a cute couple." I say looking at our reflection. "She laughs. "Agreed."

She walks back over to her desk and puts the make up bad back. "are we good?" She looks around. "No!" She says fixing everything on her desk.

I chuckle a little. "Good thing you remembered that. Kathrine never would have let it go." I say shaking my head. She laughs and looks around. "I think where good." She says sitting in her chair.

I walk over to the door and let Kathrine in. "took you long enough." She says rushing in and walking straight twords Regina. "What is it Kathy?" Regina asks looking worried.

REGINAS POV:

I start to grow scared as I wait for Kathrine to speak. "in half an hour there conducting your father's will." She explains. "half an hour? Where?" I ask. "At the court house." She answers. "The court house? That's all the way across town." I panic. "There's no way I'm going to make it." I say rushing up and gathering my things.

"Calm down." Emma calming says grabbing my shoulders and rubbing them. "Just relax, were gonna get there. I'll drive." She says grabbing the keys out my hand.

I take a deep breath and calm down. I nod and we hed twords the door. "Thanks for letting me know Kathrine. Come to my house at 7:00 and I'll let you know how it went." I say walking out.

Emma holds my hand and we quickly get to the car. She opens my door, I get in, then she gets in on the driver's side and starts the car. She pulls out of the parking spot and in less than three minutes were on out way.

I start to think about his will. Why should I go? There's no way he left me anything. My mother's probably going to get the house and all of his money. It's not like I want anything to keep anyway. I just want to know he didn't forget about me. Something small would be nice. Maybe something from my childhood. Something sentimental.

Who am I kidding? There's no way he even remembers my name.  "Hey you doin ok over there?" I hear Emma quietly ask. "I'm fine, just thinking about his will." I respond. "What do you mean?" She asks

"I don't think he even remembered me to leave me anything." I say shaking my head and looking out the window. "Don't think like that. There's no way he would do that." She says reaching her hand out and rubbing my thigh.  "Whatever happens when we get there will determine whether that's true or not." I respond.

We get to the court house three minutes late and we rush out the car and into the building.

Once we make it in, my mother takes one look at me and rolls her eyes. "Took you long enough." She huffs. " She tried to start as soon as the clock hit 5:30, but I wouldn't let her." My sister zelena says walking up twords me. "Hello sis, I'm sorry I haven't spoken to you in a few days. Daddy's death is just hitting me pretty hard." She says giving me a hug. "It's ok, I understand." I respond.  After our hug she looks behind me confused. "And who is this?" She says looking at Emma.

"Oh, I'm sorry.  Zelina This is my girlfriend Emma. Emma this is my sister Zelena." I say stepping back so they can shake hands. "Oh, you're the blond from the bar!" Zelina says in shock. "You two must have really hit it off." She smiles. "Thank god " she whispers.

"Ok zelena, that's enough." I fake smile and interrupt. " It's nice to see you again and properly be introduced." Emma says smiling. " It's very nice to meat you too." Zelena responds.

"So, do you think mother's getting everything?" I ask zelena. "I hope not. I really love the lake house in Florida."she laughs. I just shake my head and smile.

My father's lawyer then walks up to the podium Infront or the room and starts shuffling papers.

"Can everyone hear me alright?" He asked into the mic. I grab Emma's arm And wait for the lawyer to speak. "I would like to start off by saying, I'm sorry for your loss. Henry was a good man and a good friend. Now here is the last documented will of Henry mills.

"If you're reading this it means that I have taken my last breath. I want my children to know I loved them. And for my wife to know I seen straight through all her lies." My mother's face goes pale.

"First I want my daughter Regina to know I never forgot about her and that I am incredibly sorry for my mistakes. To her I leave the mansion in Mexico where we had our best memories. The mansion in L.A where she would go for the summer with her friends. All of my money, with an acception that she pays all my staff $250,000 each. The lake house in Florida and the beach house in Malibu." I stand in shock and my heart starts to pound in my chest. I squeeze Emma's hand.

"To my daughter zelena I leave the family company. To my wife I leave nothing. I hope everyone is happy with what they've gotten. I also hope you all can make peace with my death and move on." Signed Henry mills 11/9/2021

I continue to squeeze Emma's hand and I feel like I'm about to pass out. "He also wrote a letter to each of you." The lawyer says handing out letters.

I hold mine in my hand to scared to open it. "go ahead." Emma nods. I slowly open the letter then unfolding it.

"Dear my sweet, sweet child. You deserve more than an apology. there's truly no words to express how sorry I am for what I've done to you, what I've put you through. After all these years, I'm laying on my death bed. I never thought the day would come, when I would be like this without my little angel by my side, but I know I don't deserve it. I am truly sorry for what I've done, Regina. I never should have believed your mother. I should have known you could never do anything like that. I should have believed You. Instead I let that awful woman get to me and lie to me for years. It is only know I realize how incredibly wrong I was. Its to late for me to make it up to you In person, but I do hope that one day you can forgive me. For now please enjoy what I have left for you." Signed Henry mills.
