The final movie finished causing Ace to stand up, cracking her back she looked around to see everyone other than her, Sid, Billy, Nancy and Randy were asleep. Chuckling, the girl walked over to the TV and turned it off, Making sure not to step on anyone in the process. Grabbing everyone's trash and empty pop cans she made her way towards the kitchen. Walking towards the trash can she opened it and threw the trash away. Tossing the empty cans into a box, she turned around and gasped as she bumped into Billy.
"Jeez dude, you scared me." Ace Mumbled as she moved around the boy.
"Sorry, I was coming to let you know me and Stu were heading out." Billy smiled as he followed the short girl out the kitchen. Making her way back into the living room she noticed Jax, Alyx and Levi were just now waking up. Stu was stretching and walking around while Meg and Tatum were still asleep.
"Okay, you boys be safe please." Ace trailed off as she made eye contact with Billy, quickly breaking eye contact she glanced at Stu who was already looking at her with a smirk. Rolling her eyes she walked over to Tatum and shook her awake just as Billy and Stu headed for the front door. Soon Levi, Nancy, Jax and Alyx left leaving just Sidney, Ace, Tatum, Meg and Randy alone. Everyone awkwardly looked at each other just as Meg let out a small snore. Chuckling Ace walked over and gently shook her sister awake, Meg sat up, stretching as she looked around the room. She watched as Tatum and Nancy finished putting their shoes one before making their way towards the door.
"Thanks for the movie night Ace." Nancy smiled as Tatum pulled the door open.
"Yea thanks Ace." Tatum grinned as she pulled Nancy out the house. Chuckling Ace shook her head as she plopped down next to her sister.
"So, I know you said no, but pretty please come spend the night." Sid pleaded as she looked at Meg.
"I think it's a great idea, just make sure ya'll lock your doors and everything." Ace Smiled, not letting her sister Answer.
"Fine, but call us if you need anything." Meg sighed as she glared playfully at her sister. Ace stuck her tongue out causing Meg to flip her off in response. Once Sidney and her sister left Randy soon followed, giving Ace a short hug and a pat on the head he left. Grabbing all the blankets off the floor she tossed them on the couch before locking the front door and turning the living room light off.
Two figures walked side by side as they grew closer and closer to the Jackson household. It was pitch black outside so they knew no one could tell who they were. Now standing right in front of the house, the second killer glanced at the first, to the one in charge, waiting to see what their first move was.
"Do you think they are asleep?" the taller one asked, their eyes wandering over the house. It didn't seem like any of their lights were on, but they knew the two girls who lived here were night owls some days, while others they would pass out before the sun even set. The shorter shrugged as they stuffed their hands into the front pockets of their blue jeans.
"I'm not sure, It looks like it, but we should get a closer look to make sure." the shorter one smirked as they began heading towards the side of the house. As the taller one smiled as they quickly caught up to the other killer, who was already across the street. Unknown to the two, Ace was wide awake. After Casey's murder, she found it hard. anytime she would close her eyes, all she could see was the white mask and Steve dying over and over again.
Shaking her head, she stood in front of the bathroom mirror. She had dark bags under her eyes, you could see she wasn't sleeping well. Scattered across her face were fresh cuts, one was stitched close. She was wearing a black tank top, which showed off the bandage on her shoulder from where she was stabbed. The pain wasn't unbearable yet so she knew she'd be able to handle it until the morning.
"Looking like a hot mess, like always." She mumbled as she grabbed the brush off the sink. Running it through her hair a few times. She sighed. Frowning in the mirror She put the brush back down before flipping the light switch off. Walking out of the bathroom she decided to walk towards the kitchen, deciding to make some Chamomile tea in hopes it would help her get some type of sleep.
Turning on the Kitchen light she walked towards the cabinets, opening one of the doors she pulled down a black coffee cup. Setting it on the counter top, she closed the cabinet door and made her way over towards the rake with the clean dishes she grabbed the kettle. Hearing the phone ring. She froze. Almost dropping the kettle, the black-haired girl slowly made her way to the phone that was hanging on the wall next to the counter where her cup was.
"Please don't be some creepy killer." She mumbled as she picked up the phone. Hitting accept, she was greeted with her sister's voice.
"Hey, loser." Chuckling at her sister's words she felt herself relax a little bit.
"Dude you scared the shit out of me, I thought you were some creepy killer. Why are you calling me this late?" She rambled as she walked over towards the sink.
"I was checking up on you. Sid fell asleep and I'm bored." She responded casually causing Ace to chuckle. "Plus it's only like 11:30 pm" She rolled her eyes as she turned the faucet on, running the water for a bit. She eventually stuck the kettle under the faucet, letting it fill up.
"Yeah, whatever." She smiled as Meg chuckled. "Well I'm doing okay, just can't sleep." Ace finished causing Meg to hum in response. "But watching two friends die and almost being murdered yourself will do that." She finished as she placed the kettle on the stove, turning the front burner on, she walked over to the counter, hopping up on top of it, she made sure not to knock over her cup.
"I understand, but I gotta go. I'm glad you're doing okay for the most part."
"Thanks, I hope you have a goodnight, love you, and see you tomorrow." Ace mumbled
"I'll try, Love you too, loser." Meg giggled into the phone as she hung up. Ace laughed as she turned and hung up the phone.
The shorter one watched from the kitchen window, their eyes never once leaving the girl's figure.
"She looks awful," the taller killer announced, causing the other to hit them in the stomach. Making them groan as they rubbed the spot where they had gotten hit.
"You hit me in the gut, dick," they mumbled as they looked away from Ace, their eyes glancing at the one in charge.
"I wonder whose fault that was." the shorter one hissed as they finally tore their gaze from Ace who was leaning against the cabinets behind her, her eyes closed. The taller one frowned as they looked away from the shorter one. Both were quiet as the tension in the air thickened. The one in charge looked at their watch before looking at the taller killer.
"Do you have the stuff?"
"Of course I have the stuff I'm not stupid." they whispered as they pulled out a hockey mask from their bag "oh shit wrong thing, hold on let me just.." they trailed off before pulling out a phone and a white device. Smirking at the one in charge, dialing Ace's number they handed the phone and device over to the one in charge. Hitting the call button on the phone the shorter killer held the phone and device up to their lips.
"Hello?" Ace answered, thinking it was her sister calling again.
"Surprise, Ace, Did ya think we were done with you?"
