Behind You

Right as Randy continues to watch TV. He is now sloppy drunk, completely Invested in the movie on the tv screen.

Quickly Meg entered the room, seeing the drunk boy on the couch she rushed over Infront of him.

"Randy, come on we need to go and find Alyx" Meg said as she reached out grabbing a hold of Randy's arm.

"What about finding me?" Alyx asked loudly as he walked into the living room causing Meg to jump in both fear and surprise. "Why so jumpy all of a sudden?"

"Uh, No reason Alyx, we were just looking for you"

"Aww come on, it's the best part Meg." Randy whines as he pulls his arm out of the girl's hold.

"Where were you by the way?" Meg asked, choosing to ignore Randy at the moment.

"Well, I kinda got too high and wandered outside and... just kinda stared at the trees." Alyx stated, mumbling the ending of his sentence.

Meg nodded slightly "sounds like you, so it makes sense, I'm sorry but we need to leave.." Meg said urgently "l-look guys I don't feel real safe and-" Meg began but cut herself off as she felt herself begin to shake lightly.

"We need to leave" Meg trembles, causing Alyx to sober up slightly.

"What's going on?" He questioned, just as Meg was about to respond, Randy cut her off.

"No, Jamie. Look behind you! Watch out! Behind you!" Randy cries out at the T.V making the two turn towards Randy.

Meg closed her eyes trying to think of how to word this.. knowing if the flat out told him that Stu was the killer.. the boy would not hesitate and track Stu down and throw hands with him.

"Listen to me Alyx, And listen carefully." Meg began causing Alyx to walk over to his closes giving her his undivided attention "I need you to keep and eye on Randy, and if you see Stewert watch what you do and what you say he's been a bit of an asshole: he almost got into a fight with kid named Devin earlier" Med lied through her teeth.

Alyx stared down at Meg for a moment, the two had been friends for years ever since they were in middle school.. He knew she was lying to him but with everything going on Alyxx didn't want to push it.

"Fine. but you owe me for babysitting the kid" Alyx huffed as he walked over taking a seat next to Randy, The said boy glanced at Alyx with a beer in hand.

"You're... So... pretty.." Randy mumbled, hiccuping here and there as he leaned his head against Alyx's shoulder. Alyx blinked a few times before looking down at Randy.

As soon as Alyx had sat down Meg darted out of the room into the hallway and out the front door to look for Dewey. Unknown to Meg, Ghostface appeared standing directly behind Alyx and Randy...knife raising to the air.

Kenny finishes off a can of soda and crushes the can in his hand. He jumps as he hears a faint knocking coming from the passenger door. Looking over he noticed it was Meg. she eventually opened the passenger door,

"Look there's something bad going on, Do you have a phone or something? I need to call the police." She stated, causing Kenny to toss the can to the floor, movement from the monitor catches his eyes. Randy and Alyx are still on the couch, engrossed in the
movie. Directly behind Them was Ghostface. Kenny does a double-take. No fucking way. He watches as the person stands still, unmoving, knife raised.

"JESUS...FUCK.." Kenny mumbles as his eyes widen, Meg happened to glance at the monitor, her eyes widening in horror. The person takes a silent step forward, making Kenny and Meg panic.

"BEHIND YOU! LOOK BEHIND YOU!" Meg and Kenny shouted. Just as Kenny bolts out of his seat and goes for the side door, hoping he could help them. He slides it open and sticks his head out just in time for a long blade to come at him, fast, slicing into his throat. Kennys body falls forward, out the door and hitting the ground with a thud, the Ghostfaced figure looms over him. Meg's eyes widen in horror as the figure tilts his head towards her, whipping the blood off the blade with his thumb and index finger.

In the background the monitor was still playing, the figure had turned away from Alyx and Randy, leaving them unharmed, moving instead, out the front door, on a thirty second walk to the news van. Slowly Ghostface began making his way towards Meg who quickly backed away. Turning around she blots towards the house.

The attic is long, narrow and cluttered with furniture, boxes, and the likes. moonlight filters in through a small raised window on the front wall of the house. Ace moves through the attic, bumping into this, knocking over tha.t she jumps at her reflection as she passes a dusty mirror, She cringes at her image, drenched in Billy's blood.

She stares long and hard...something about the blood, the redness of it, it didn't seem right. But She moves on, determined to find a way out. Her eyes glanced across the room before looking up to see a window above her. Away out! if she could only reach it...

Gale and Dewey come running up the drive, frantic. "I'll call for backup." Dewey stated, glancing towards Gale who nodded.

"I'll get my camera."

They split up. Dewey rushes towards his jeep as Gale rushes to the news van.

"Kenny! Camera! Quick!" She exclaimed, throwing open the door, only to see the van was empty. "Kenny?" A Car horn goes off Causing Gale to jump and spin around.

It came from the patrol jeep in the driveway. "Dewey?" Gale calls out, in hopes the man had accidentally hit the horn. She moves across the yard to the jeep, the door hangs open... Dewey
is nowhere to be found.

"Dewey? Where are you?" She yells as a look of pure dread washed over her face.

Ace began to stack objects after objects, in hopes to build a ladder to the window. Climbing to the top she holds onto the window frame. Looking out the window, She spots Gale almost immediately.

"GALE!" She yells, as her free hand feels for the window latch. But there isn't one, It doesn't open. Ace starts beating on it trying to break it.

Gale, hanging tough, approaches the front door, unable to hear Aces Screams three floors up. Gale reaches for the door just as she hears loud, horrible shrieks coming from inside making the woman back away.

An ear curdling Jamie Lee Curtis screams blast through the empty living room as the horror movie on TV comes to its horrifying climax. Randy and Alyx are now gone.

Gale races across the yard heading towards the van, trying to put as distance between her and the house as she could.

In the attic Ace had found an old gold club, quickly grabbing it she made her way to the window, with all the strength she could muster she swung it at the window, breaking it. Ace moves quickly, lifting herself up over broken glass and pulling herself through the window frame. Wasting no time Ace looks for Gale, but is gone.

Ace lowers herself down the ledge, sliding down a sloped portion of the roof and onto the master bedroom balcony. She then eases herself over the railing, just as she starts climbing down the Ghost appears grabbing her wrists.

Her body hangs, dangling against the side of the house. The ghost begins to lift her, pulling her back onto the balcony.

Ace jerks, pulls, twists. But the black clothed hands have her, hoisting her up...Ace Screams madly...yanking one last time, she frees herself. Dropping to the ground which was a good seven feet away from the balcony, landing on her back, hitting the ground hard. She grabs at her right leg, pain spreading through it as she brings herself upright.
