The late afternoon sun is quickly disappearing. Meg and Ace had just finished changing for the party when their land line phone ranged out. Meg stared at the phone slowly as she crept over debating on whether or not to answer it, Meg quickly picked up the phone.
"Hello Jackson resident's" Meg greeted
"Wow so formal" Stu's voice laughs from the other end of the phone causing Meg to let out a sigh in relief.
"Stu buddy, what can I do for you?" Meg asked with a smile as she tied up her heels.
"You can start by admitting you're secretly in love with me~" Stu flirted, causing Meg's face to turn bright red and with a bet Stu continued. "But jokes aside I just wanted to let you know that Sid said yeah and her and Tatum would be coming to pick you up with Deputy Dip shit"
Meg rolled eyes slightly "excuse me, its actually Deputy Dewy '' Meg clarified with sass.
"Well my bad, I have dyslexia" Stu sasses right back making Meg chuckle lightly.
"Yeah sure and I'm actually Married to Syd"
"And Syds spelled as Stu."
"Whatever helps you sleep at night" Meg taunted as she watched Ace walk into the living room. Ace smiled at her sister as she headed towards the kitchen, pulling a cold can of coke out the fridge she cracked it open before taking a big sip.
Making her way back towards Meg she made it in time to see Meg hang up the phone, leaning against the wall next to her she raised an eyebrow.
"Stu?" Ace questioned as she took another drink of her pop.
"Yup, good thing we did change, Sid said she'll go to the party." Meg responded as she looked towards her youngest sister. Ace nodded as she offered her sister the can of pop, Meg gave her a smile before taking it, chugging half of what's left in the can she gave it back to Ace with a smirk as she quickly walked away.
"Bitch." Ace mumbled as she finished the can, walking towards the kitchen she tossed the can in a box, hearing it clatter against the other cans Ace turned back and headed towards the living room. She grabbed her black heeled boots, plopping onto the couch she began to put them on.
"Can you grab my keys? They are on the desk in my room." Ace hollered as she tied the left boot.
"What's in it for me?" Meg Replied loudly, Ace rolled her eyes at her sister's response.
"You can drive us somewhere tomorrow."
"Fuck yea!" Meg yelled, causing Ace to laugh as she finished tying her right boot. Standing up she grabbed her leather jacket off the hanger, feeling around in her pockets she smiled in victory as she found her two blunts. Pulling them out her smile grew as she saw they were still smokable. Putting them back in the pocket she put the jacket on as she grabbed her purse.
Looking around Ace smiled as she spotted her Polaroid camera hanging on the door knob to the basement. Walking over she grabbed the strap of the knob and placed it over her shoulder, she figured she'd take some pictures at the party, as a way to remember the night.
"Here they are!" Meg announced as she held the keys out to her sister. Smiling she grabbed hers from her sister before walking to the front door and pulling it open.Meg and Ace walked out onto the front porch looking out into the small town neighborhood. Just as Dewey's patrol jeep pulled into the driveway.
Ace lets out a sigh "this is such a bad idea.." She muttered to her sister causing Meg to nod in agreement.
"Yeah.. But I made a deal with Stu.. You know better than anyone else I'm not the type to go back on my word" Meg said as she walked towards Dewye's jeep with Ace right behind her.
"Good evening ladies" Dewey greeted with a smile as he rolled his window down.
"Evening Dewey" Ace greeted as both her and Meg piled into the back seat of his jeep beginning the start of their night of horrors.
Dewey's patrol jeep makes its way down mainstreet, It's almost dark. The street is close to deserted; it looked like a ghost town..
Both Ace and Meg watched as Dewey, who was behind the wheel, was having a heated conversation with Tatum while Sid stared out the window.
Dewey glared at the road ahead of him " A party? Mom's gonna kill you. Then me." He pointed out."Don't be so self-righteous. It's just a little blow out--we'll be perfectly safe." Tatum huffed as she crossed her arms over her chest.
Sid stares out the window. Closed signs fill the majority of the storefronts, she watches as a few people rush to their car, in a hurry to beat curfew ignoring the Dewey and Tatum little debate.
"God, look at this place, it's. The town that dreaded sundown." Syd muttered quietly
"Hey, I saw that movie. True story, about some killer in Texas." Ace pipes up hearing Sidney comment.
"Hey, if they make a movie about us. Who do you think is gonna play us?" Meg asked out of blue wanting to change the topic of killers
"Oh, god..." Meg laughs as Dewey comes to a stop, parking his jeep in front of the police station before he looks over at Syd with a brotherly smile."Well I see Sidney as a young Meg Ryan myself."
Sidney gives him a small smile "Thanks, Dewey. But with my luck they'd cast Tori Spelling." She chuckles as everyone piled out of the jeep.
"I'll just be a few minutes." Dewey began as he looked over at the girls "Don't go far." He finished in a strict tone before he headed for the station.Sidney and Tatum took off for the local supermarket that was just across the street leaving behind Ace and Meg.
"I think you would be played by Jamey lee Curtis"
They make a bee-line for the junk food section just as the automated doors slide shut behind them and...
A Ghost face masked man appears, out of nowhere, standing just outside, watching, quietly through the glass store windows. Making sure he wouldn't be spotted by anyone inside.
