The Aftermath

Dewey let out a quiet sigh as he walked over, opening the door to Burke's car for older gentlemen letting him get out of the car. "We got him, Sheriff. Billy Loomis." Dewey said, causing Burke hazel brown eyes to look over at Dewey in surprise.

"Hank Loomis' kid? Aw.. Jesus.". Burke whispered as he glanced over at the cop car that held Billy Loomis.

"He's Sidney's boyfriend." Dewey clarified as he ran his hand through his short brown hair awkwardly as the two men walked past the cop car getting Billy's attention.

"Sheriff!, I didn't do it.. please, call  my Dad.. please..!!" Billy's muffled voice came from the car before it pulled away.

Dewey and Burke watched as the squad car disappeared down the street with Billy as another car came to a stop in front of the house. Tatum quickly gets out slamming her car door behind her, clearly freaked out beyond belief as she rushed over to Sidney and Alyx.

The two officers began to make their way across the front yard Dewey put his hands in his pockets as he glanced over at the ambulance that held Meg "I was first to respond" he muttered causing the Sheriff to stop in his tracks and look over at the younger officer.

"And what were you doing out here?" Burke asked causing Dewey to glance back at Burke with an eyebrow raised

"I was doing my normal drive by patrol on this side of town when I heard the dispatch about Sidney so I rushed over" Dewey explained, causing Burke to nod in understanding before he glanced over at the other ambulance that held Sidney.

"How is she holding up?"

Dewey looked over where Burke gaze was making eye contact with Sidney he gives her a small wave in which she returned awkwardly "She's strong she should be fine"

Burke lets out a sigh "she has to be. With all the shit she's gone through." Burke huffed referring to the murder of Sidneys mom which was about a year ago.

Burke and Dewy walked over to the ambulance that held Sidney Burke's eyes narrowed seeing Alyx and Tatum "this is an official crime scene, what are you two doing here?" he asked with authority, getting the two's attention.

"It's okay. Tatum was supposed to pick me up." Sidney said trying to cover for the short blonde girl who quickly nodded "Her dad's out of town. So She's was gonna stay with us." Dewey explained in his sister's defense.

"I was hanging out with Stu and Aj, She was attacked again.." Alyx Started, causing everyone to look at him in shock.

"Why didn't you call the police?" Dewy asked, causing Alyx to roll his eyes.

"I was going to but then I saw all this from outside my window.  Aj hit the killer against the head with a coffee cup so they were able to get out." Alyx finished as he looked at the people around him.

'The vultures are coming. Let's get you guys out of here." Burke Stated as two news vans came driving up the street.

A big, white news van comes to a stop in front of the house.  The side door slides open and Gale Weathers hops out just in time to see Sidney being escorted to a squad car. Alyx rolled his eyes as he watched the dark haired woman match towards them. Jumping from the driver's seat is Keeny, Gale's cameraman and flunky.

"I'll be damned." Gale mumbled as she made eye contact with Alyx. "Jesus! The camera-hurry!" Gale snapped looking back at Kenny But it's too late.  Sidney is as good as gone.  Gale sees Tatum who was quickly getting into her car, A little red slug bug.

"Excuse me? Was that Sidney Prescott they took away?" Gale questioned as Tatum Looked over at her, rolling her blue eyes. Tatum resisted the urge to get out of the car and punch her.

"I don't know." She responded as she started her car up. "I'm not talking to you so don't bother asking questions." Tatum finished as she hit the gas pedal and followed after the cop car.

Ace snickered as she watched everything unfold in the ambulance. They had just finished making sure everything was strapped in place and that Meg was comfortable.

"That's why I'm gay for Tatum." Ace smirked as Meg started laughing. "I love it when a woman puts someone in their place."

The ambulance that held the two sisters took off down the street leaving just as Gale's cameraman Kenny came running up to her "Where'd they go?" he asked as he looked around this caused Gale to spin around facing him, flashing her pearly whites.

Look, Kenny, I know you're about fifty pounds overweight but when I say hurry please interpret that as..." she started sweetly before her kind smile turned to a snare  "MOVE YOUR FAT TUB OF LARD ASS NOW!" she snapped at him before storming off back to the van with Kenny following behind her.

A Shadowy figure loomed in the trees as they watched as everyone left Sidney's home. Perhaps if people weren't too caught up in the moment, maybe someone would have noticed the figure stalking the scene.
