Example of the trains used in Panem

Clay POV.
The 6 of us ran out of the prison-like place we had been kept. After 2 weeks of living in there we were happy to have a new place to be, even if we were still in one of the most dangerous places in the Capitol.
Nick and I ran ahead of the group, keeping our guns loaded and checking carefully around corners for anyone coming. However the building was quiet besides some other peacekeepers patrolling the halls. We were able to get past them by just slowing down and acting confident, like we were meant to be there.
There were no windows or anything, so we couldn't tell what floor we were on or anything, and there were no maps, so we couldn't find a staircase. After a few minutes we ran into some avoxes, a male and female running towards us looking happy.
"Are those the avoxes who are helping us?" Charlie asked, leaning close to Nick as he did so that they wouldn't hear.
The ravenette nodded, and put his weapon down. He looked at the pair and they attempted to sign something to him, but he paused them.
"I'm sorry but I can't understand sign language... I don't think any of us can." The avoxes seemed to understand and gave a nod.
Karl spoke up after a moment of silence. "Can you show us where the train station is?" he asked them politely.
The female nodded and spun around on her heels before she began walking down the empty hallway. Her husband followed her without a word... not that he could say a word. We exchanged glances before following them.
All of us rushed down the hallway, before reaching the stairs. They led us down several floors before we were 1 level below ground. The person I assumed to be Karl seemed to be getting nervous as he had grabbed Alex and Nick's hands and was squeezing them tightly.
After running down a particularly long hall for what felt like 20 minutes it opened up into an underground train station. The pair of avoxes slowed to a stop and so we did the same. At least a dozen peacekeepers were around. Our group of 8 tried to look casual as the male avox slipped something out of his pocket and passed it to me.
'You will need to tell one of the people operating the station from the control booth to open the gate or we won't be going anywhere.' It stated. 'We have stolen some paperwork which would let the train conductor have an excuse to go to several districts if you can think of a good enough lie.'
I read through it before giving him a nod and passing the paper to Nick. The female avox pulled another bit of paperwork out of her pocket, which was most likely the paperwork that was talked about in the note.
Once I thanked them both I grabbed Nick and directed him to follow me over to a control booth. There was a woman in there seemingly asleep with her head resting in her hands. "Excuse me..." my voice was relatively quiet as I spoke.
She sat up and looked warily at me, probably curious as to why a peacekeeper was here late at night. "We have the paperwork to open the gate. Since we need to go to several different Districts." I stated.
"And why do you need to go to several different Districts so urgently?" The woman asked suspiciously as she took the paperwork from my hand and examined it.
"President Schlatt's request," Nick stated. "He wants us to round up the families of the living tributes. Especially the family of George Davidson in District 3."
"Come back and the gate will be open in the morning." the woman growled, sliding the paperwork back over to me before trying to fall back asleep.
"It was President Schlatt's order to get them urgently." My best friend growled, and her head snapped back to give Nick a confused look. I have to admit I gave a similar look from under the mask.
He lowered his voice again as he continued. "President Schlatt ordered for us to get them urgently. So tomorrow if President Schlatt tries to have our heads for disobeying him we'll just give him your name since you thought it was okay to wait until morning. Although I had heard he was looking for a new avox at his home, didn't you hear that?"
Nick turned to me and I suppressed a chuckle as I nodded. The woman started visibly shaking from in her seat but eventually nodded. "I can open the gate." She stated, standing up and moving over to a bunch of levers. Which District did you need to go to first, so I can change the tracks."
Both of us looked at the map of Panem hanging on the back wall. The 13 Districts and Capitol were all outlined, with their crests visible next to their district number. Underneath all of them in small letters were what the Districts primary export were. Both District 12 and 13 were crossed out in a red marker on the map though. "District 7." Nick stated, and I just nodded.
The woman gave a nod too, before pulling down 1 lever followed by another. "The quickest way there is by heading through District 1 first. It should be around a 4 hour trip there in this weather though."
Both Nick and I thanked her before picking up the paperwork and heading back over to the other 6. I didn't realise that I had been sweating until I reached them and felt about how uncomfortable this uniform was.
There was a train waiting about 100 feet away from us and we all began making our way over to it. Once we were inside the door slid shut and I let out an exhale. Fundy immediately knew where the control room was after years of making trains in District 6 having him instantly know where to go.
I followed the redhead in case he needed any help and the 2 avoxes trailed along behind us. By the time I had caught up with Fundy he was pressing some buttons on a control panel in the control room which I didn't understand. It all seemed foreign to me but Fundy was able to use it all easily.
A voice crackled over a radio coming from the station platform and so I grabbed it. "Train B-3087 you are about to begin a trip through District 1 to District 7 am I correct?"
"Yes you are ma'am," I responded. The peacekeeper uniform is able to make your voice sound different.
"The gate to the station is open now, you can leave now. It will be a 4 hour journey." She stated before her voice disappeared.
The redhead from District 6 looked out of the window at the front of the train before pressing a few more buttons and pulling the lever. With that the train started rolling forward along the tracks.

Can't help but notice my stories seem to get the most popular right before I've finished uploading them, take demons and bodyguard as an example. So I think that by the time this is like 3 chapters from being done I'll get like 2000 readers daily.
Also I noticed my stories come out in waves.
Wave 1 was Kidnappers and Gangs where I wasn't sure what I was doing and they were pretty much unknown (Gangs was taken down because I thought it wasn't going well)
Wave 2 was Bodyguard, Rich Romance, Action, and Kidnappers part 2 where I got better at writing as I figured out what I was doing and the account was growing.
(All besides Bodyguard I stopped updating because of not liking the way they were going and issues with other authors).
Demons and Hunger Games are a bridge between old era stories (in a more realistic setting) into a less realistic one (with non human creatures/dystopian settings)
Wave 3 is continuing on with that with future stories being Blackout, Vampire Hunters, and God's.
Wave 4 is more dystopian and alternate realities, such as the game, a Pokèmon story, and a superhero story.
Just was thinking about it.
