It was much pleasure seeing my mother at the front gate of our house, when i got out from the Tram. Normally, I tell her about my day in school and in the bus but today i also spoke about her brother, Uncle Thompson. We ate dinner and I said goodbye to her before I left for my evening shift. I work in the evening because my mum is unattached mother with two children. My father left us when I was only two. My mother can't afford everything we need so I got this job. My sister, Louisa also works but only in summer as a babysitter at my crush's house. Her name is Georgia Carlos and we attend the same school. We have Mathematics, Physics and Biology classes together. She has three siblings, a little boy whom my sister takes care of, a nine-year-old girl, and Janet, a high school student. Since her parents are always not available and busy all the time, they search for babysitters whenever Georgia and Janet leave for school.

I was thrilled on my way to work until I got into this bus, which almost takes three hours to reach it's destination. Those who take these buses, are those who have more time ahead like me. The drivers of these buses are nice and quiet too. These buses are often not regulated by the ticket controllers. I got into the bus and as usual I sat at my favourite place. I placed my headphones on and began to read my favourite story by TJ studio, "THE SAD MOMENTS" as the bus drove far away.

"Julius" one woman on board called out my name. I was firstly confused because i knew this voice. Oh! then I remembered. She was my mother's co-worker. She is such a freak. It's not like I'm disobeying my elders but this woman is the devil herself. She came to our house one time, when my mother and I were there. She told my mom about her "perfect" husband. Her husband is also a jerk like herself. He had ran away from jail so many times but I don't know why the police are not pursuing him anymore. After she said all that she wanted to say to annoy my mother, my mother just eyed her. Since that day I have never seen her until today.

As always she's still occasion to her pursuit. She asked about my mother and started to brag about her husband again, how perfect her husband is,  and so on. But I wouldn't listen. As soon as she realized that I wasn't simply listening, she stopped and headed to her seat.
At the second station, new passengers disembarked in as others too got down from the bus.

A few minutes later, my mother's co-worker shouted on the top of her tiny voice saying: "Where is my iPhone". I was quite surprised to hear that since I have never seen her using an iPhone before. "Have you checked your bag?". A woman near her asked.
She quickly went through her receptacles but it wasn't found. She trilled and it aggrieved the driver to pull a stop. The driver and some of the passengers began chasing down for the iPhone but they couldn't smell the presence of any iPhone. An idea was generated by an elderly person. "Why don't we check ourselves to fish out the one who stole the phone". She proposed. "Good one". One woman supported.

The driver was selected to check the bags. Which wasn't an easy task at all because some people won't easily allow their bags to be checked, especially the female passengers. "Are you going to check a woman's bag?" One woman questioned when she was the next person to be checked. "A married woman particularly". She added but to no avail because of the red eyes of my mother's co-worker. She allowed herself eventually.
I was the next person to be checked. I had no fear or anything else. I totally knew how innocent I was. "I know this boy stole my iPhone". My mother's co-worker said again as I was been checked. This time around I have had enough of her nonsense so I shouted back "Who even knows if she lied to us". The environment became still as if I have cursed all the passengers. I could hear some people whisper to themselves. I became comfortable after I came clean as a white handkerchief.

You should have seen the shocked and disgraced painted on her Face . The driver continued to do his new assigned duty but after the check, the iPhone wasn't still found. The driver went back to his seat and we drove off. My mother's co-worker shed some hypocritical tears and other passengers comforted her. I always knew what she does everytime, by crying so that she can raise money from other people. But this time around everything fell flat. Another woman sitting near me asked about her and I declared how she's known to be so the woman proceeded asking me what I meant by: "Who even knows if she has lied to us". I explained that too. She then said "I know what to do" and turned away. Minutes later I heard someone whisperings but I decided not to react again. "What if the boy is right". The woman whom I explained about the situation said. "Yeah my sister who even knows. These days know one is trustworthy". A man said back.
I was like wow what a heck is going on. No sooner did the women at the back of the bus including my mother's co-worker started fighting . The Other women forced my mother's co-worker to say the truth about her iPhone but she refuses every time. As they continued fighting, sounds of a ringing phone was alarmed from my mother's co-worker's bag. It was an Android. "You crazy lazy woman". The driver said. "It took us a half day in searching for your so called iPhone or should I say your android". I could smell the burn of an anger as the driver spoke. Other women who gave her money redeemed it and she was even thrown out of the bus. "Thank you! boy". A man said to me.
