Trains' Secrets

I sat down on the dirty bench at the entrance of my workplace, looking directly at the big clock in front of me. It was virtually seven o'clock in the evening. As it  was practically time to end my shift came my boss. Mr. Rogers who happened to be my boss also works as a train driver. He always tells me all their secret places and whole lot about the trains. I enjoyed the moment  because not everyone is lucky to know such stuff. "Julius, are you going home," he said as he sat by me. I said yes and he continued "oh great so as me but I have a late shift today so I can't drop you home". Although, he is my boss and he is also like a father to me. He knows about my family status so he always finds ways to help my family and I. We drove out of the company and at the train station I alighted.

I thanked him and went for a seat at the train station. I protracted for the train. After some minutes, I began thinking about what will happen tonight in the train. Since everyday is practically a mystery for me. Like what happened to my mother's co-worker some hours ago in the bus.  Oh, I forgot to add what happened to her!  She was arrested after she got out of the bus. The train finally arrived. I was extremely happy because my bestie was in the train. We shot the breeze,  took pictures and as usual we spread rumours about everything. My bestie is a girl so it is natural for us to give a tittle-tattle. I admire my bestie, Julia. Moments later, the ticket checkers reported themselves for duty. Julia unfortunately didn't have a ticket and I knew how to cover up for her without being noticed.

Secret no.1 The Cover-up speech

I have so many ways to cover up for Julia. It is easy to say but a little bit harder to do. But anything for my bestie. Not long after the ticket checkers, who were far away from us were standing behind us. I began speaking, "Good day Sir". In a calm tone as I was thought. "My friend here does not have her Monthly ticket with her at the moment" I continued. But before he said anything else. it was time for rule and secret no.2.

Secret no. 2 The Pretends.
Julia pretends to be sick and needs to go to the washroom immediately. I also backed the act and we were allowed to carry on. To our advantage, the passengers and the ticket checkers were very emotional. I can say the ticket checkers fell for that little act. It took ten minutes until we heard the next station been announced, where Julia will alight. She thanked me and left. I returned to my seat but guys don't turn down on me the next secret is  JUST EPIC‼️.

Secret no.3 The Unknown
As I was sitting came a man. Is like he had been roaming around and that made me recognize who he is. My Boss has warned me about those people. They are the police. Is not easy for any commoner to identify them. They are usually in some old clothes from the thrift store and dirty shoes. You would ask yourself, what are they doing in the train? There had been some criminal cases in the trains lately. As recently , a little girl almost got kidnapped and if not for these unknown policemen, something terrible would have happened. They handle all criminal cases. I pretended not to have seen him. He suddenly sat beside me and began to speak; hello? I responded calmly. Then he continued. We talked for a while until his shift was over. You will be wondering, what he spoke about. He disclosed about the country and some other stuffs .And since zero happened  this time around they left .

Secret  no. 4 The Small prison.

When i was told about these unknown policemen, I used to wonder where the criminals are taken temporarily without anyone's notice. There is a large place for the criminals in the train. For example, the trains that keep long to reach their destination. Behind these trains are some small rooms. The Policemen are trained so well that no one will even notice that they are present in the train. According to my boss, when a criminal act is caught the police will interfere and follow the crime to a silent place where the would later reveal their true selves. Quite interesting right? The criminals are sometimes dull-witted because they don't stop coming into the train to pilfer or do irrelevant acts. A young boy who  robbed in the train just then is in my class, a handsome tall guy. He is kind and caring to everyone. His parents are extremely poor but I didn't expect him to engage himself in such acts. To what he said, his job was to steal purses and handbags from people but ended up not been successful. Anyone can clarify that he is innocent except the Police. Till now they are still  investigating over his case and it's their duty to protect the society. The boy is also suspended till the end of the investigation. Sorry for him though. So back to the prison in trains, it is also a rumor that every prisoner who comes out from that prison, claims to have lost his or her memory. Many people don't believe but that is true. Sometimes i even wonder "Who even has time to creating these rumors ". One woman, who was interviewed some weeks ago after the criminal cases increasingly  said, I'm home now from the long journey'. As usual, my mum was waiting for me, I ate some fruits and went to bed some hours later.
