"WAKE UP, SIRIUS"

"Go away"

"C'mon, mate. Everyone has already gone to breakfast" Remus said from his side of the dorm, trying to knot his tie perfectly.

Sirius opened one eye, "wait, is everyone gone?"

"Yes! I just said that"

Sirius quickly sat up and combed his messy hair with his fingers. "Mate, I got to tell you something".

Remus shrugged on his cardigan and went to sit beside Sirius, who tucked his hair behind his ear all while trying to stifle a yawn. "Last night I was shagging this blonde bomb shell, short, Hufflepuff, a little too submissive for my liking if I do say so myself.."

"Sirius breakfast is almost over I could care less about your late night rendezvous" the tall boy began to get up when Sirius grabbed his arm.

"Sorry, got sidetracked. What I wanted to tell you was that while I was in a broom closet on the seventh floor, I heard someone crying".

"Really?" Remus couldn't be more confused considering what he saw on the map last night. He nodded for his friend to continue while trying to put together the pieces of the puzzle that formed inside his head the moment he saw the name of Lily, Megaera, and Sirius all in the same place.

"Yeah! And you'll never guessed who it was" Sirius voice was muffled by the fabric of the school's jumper, which he was trying to get over his head.

"Who?"

Sirius's head popped out of the neckline of his school sweater, "Stone cold bitch, Megaera Carrow!" He announced.

"Wait, what?"

Remus honestly guessed that the crying one would be Lily, considering that his redhead fellow Gryffindor has always been soft. At times they would often joke that she would rather do well in Hufflepuff.

But what would Megaera Carrow have to cry about?

She's always calm and compose. Except for yesterday in the train, but still he guessed that she was only having a bad day. Sure he was a little thrown off at the beginning, but he then saw her all fine and mighty sitting alongside Mulciber in the prefects meeting.

The only emotion he has ever seen displayed on her face before was anger and annoyance, all directed at him obviously.

"Are you sure it wasn't Lily?" Remus questioned.

Sirius furrowed his eyebrows remembering back to last night, he specifically saw the black haired girl's shoulders shake with each sob that racked through her frail body.

He shooked his head, "No I distinctly remember it being Carrow".

Remus tried not to really ponder over the matter anymore. He rubbed his hands over his trouser clad thighs and stood up, ready to make his way out of the dorm.

"Either way Padfoot, it's none of our business what Carrow moans over".

Sirius stopped fixing his tie, giving up and just letting it hang by his neck in an unkept matter. "Moony, you know I'm not a death eater sympathiser, but she truly sounded heartbroken".

"Well still, it's none of our business". Remus said, already moody with the lack of food in his system. He looked over to his friend, who was trying to put on his shoe. Remus opened the door and gestured to Sirius to get going.

"Yeah, I guess you're right, mate".

Together Sirius and Remus made their way to the common room and out of the Gryffindor Tower. Wordlessly they made their way to the Great Hall, when suddenly Sirius stopped arruptly making Remus almost trip beside him.
