SHE WAS BACK IN THAT ROOM.
Bellatrix was by her side chanting for her to do it, her father was silently observing, his gaze burning holes through her head. Expecting her to do it.
Then, there was the man. The muggle. He had tears running down his face. Too terrified to pay mind to the snot making its way down his cupid's bow.
She was reliving that same night.
Only this time, Megaera could hear him. There was no silencing charm over the muggle. Which made it somewhat even worse.
"You know the words, deary" Bellatrix said with a sweet smile, pushing her forward. Incintnig her to kill the man.
"What words? Please let me go! I don't know you people, I've got a wife and kids at home. Let me go!"
The muggle was moving harshly against his restraints, trying to freed himself. Getting agradvely by the second. The chains he was tied with clacking and the sound of it echoing throughout the empty room.
"Megaera"
"LET ME GO PLEASE. DON'T KILL ME"
Bellatrix harshly squeezed her shoulder and whispered" you better fucking do it".
"NO DON'T KILL ME"
Megaera couldn't really focus on everything else except on the sound of the man's screams and the rattling of the chains.
She started to shake "No, no, no, no" she whispered under her breath, her voice breaking and tears blurring her vision.
"NO, NO, NO, NO" the muggle yelled .
Then, she woke up.

"She was undeniably mean to Wormy here"
Peter only nodded fervently behind James, who was explaining yesterday's event to Remus and Sirius.
It was the next day after classes, the Marauders were in their common room. After Sirius questioned Carrow's absence during the day, James immediately jumped to tell yesterday's event that revolved around the same witch they were discussing.
"That's such a bitch move" Sirius reasoned. "What do you think, Moony?"
Remus who had been silent the whole time, looked up from his homework. "What did you lot expect? It's Carrow"
Maybe he didn't mean it to come out the way it did, but he saw it as right though. Carrow would rather be caught dead than vulnerable, so Remus didn't see this incident and her reaction out of character.
To Remus, Megaera Carrow was nothing more than a stone cold witch.
Lily who had been listening to the conversation from one of the couches nearby decided to speak up, causing James to perk up. Trying to defend her best friend, even if it was unknown to some of the people in the common room, "Maybe she was having a bad day, just like everyone does from time to time".
James nodded, but only because it was his crush's opinion and he would do anything to be in Lily's good side.
Remus was already over with talking about his rival, he rolled his eyes and opened another book. "She always has bad days then."
Sirius howled with laughter, Peter giggled, and the corners of James lips turned upwards and quickly turned downwards at the sight of a not so amused Lily.
