For the next two weeks I only had headaches and insomnia. Today was the day I had to meet him again and tell him what I had decided.
Same location, same time. Yesterday I had no sleep as usual and you could clearly tell by just looking at my face. I had big and dark eye bags, I also lost weight.
I've been spacing out a lot recently, especially during missions with Kakashi-sensei and team 7. Because of this, Lady Tsunade demanded that I'd stay home and reflect.
I gotta admit this break helped me a lot to clear my mind. Four days ago, I went to talk about it with her and told her everything that happened.
«This situation is definitely complicated. Its results will be defined only by your decisions, but after all, life is all about decisions... This time, as the Hokage, I'll be the one deciding for you: I want you to go with Itachi.»
«I'm sorry, Lady Tsunade...» an expression in between shock and concern crossed her face for a moment. «...I had already decided to leave the village before this meeting, so I'll go with him not because you ordered me to, but because it was my own decision. This is my way ninja.»
«So what was the point of discussing it with me if you already had a plan?» she asked in a playful tone.
«Of course I had to. I wanted your permission and I'm glad that you let me. Thank you, Lady Tsunade. I promise I'll be writing you everything about their organisation in the name of Konoha!»

«You're here, finally.» I didn't even bother to look up to see, because I already knew who it was and just took the stairs to the roof.
«I'll be brief, I thought about it and... I chose to go with you.»
«That was really quick, man..
Shall we go now, Itachi?» Kisame asked and he nodded in response. «You didn't bring anything with you?»
«You'll give me a place to stay and food, right? I don't have anything important anyway. Plus, if I walked around with a backpack I would draw attention.» I replied and left.
«She's smart, Itachi.» «Precisely for this reason, Kisame, I can't tell you what Y/n has come up with. She wouldn't follow us without her own plan.» I pretended I didn't hear them and kept walking behind them.
«So, what do we do about that? Are you sure it will be safe bringing her to our hideout?» Kisame was very worried, but in comparison to him, Itachi-niisan seemed so relaxed. «She's weaker than all of us, she can't rebell or fight us.»
"Hn! Strength is useless if you don't think rationally anyway."
I cleared my throat and interrupted them, «You still haven't told me where we are headed.» «We're going to our base. Me and Kisame aren't the only ones who live there.» Itachi-niisan replied.
«Yeah, there are a few more people with us.» Kisame added. «Our organisation is called Akatsuki, we're all considered S-rank criminals because we betrayed our villages. But they won't hurt you, don't worry.» Itachi-niisan finished.
His friend looked at him as if he wanted to ask him "Why did you give her these information already‽". «She should've known anyway» He shrugged it off.
I pretended to be surprised, when in reality I already knew about it. Lady Tsunade gave me a lot of useful information, such as the members' names and abilities.
There are nine members in total and soon I'll be the tenth one.

«Before going inside, don't forget that you're not allowed to say anything that may sound odd. If they ask you questions, I'll answer them for you, got it?» I nodded and prepared myself.
