Today is the day of the chunin exam, and yes, I'm pretty worried. Not only for me, but for the others, too. Out of all my worries, Naruto is in the first place. I have known him since kindergarten, I think I know him more than Sasuke at this point. Just kidding, but what I'm sure about is that Naruto may find some things difficult, like for example being focused on a certain thing.
Entering the room, in which we've should do the test, we met the person who had to watch over us. To be honest, he seemed so terrifying, especially with his deep voice and how he was observing us with his dark eyes, scary as well.
His name was Ibiki Morino, a tokubetsu jonin and, as I know, the commanding officer of the Konoha torture and interrogation force.
The rules of the first part of the exam were simple:
1) Each of us has 10 points. At every wrong answer 1 point is going to be subtracted.
2) Since this test is a group test, each team has a total of 30 points.
3) Everytime you get caught cheating, 2 points are going to be subtracted, which means at the 5th time you're being rejected.
4) Those who run out of points, or who cannot answer any question correctly, will be rejected together with their team.
In conclusion, if you fail, the whole team fails.
They started giving us the papers, there were ten problems. Feeling too many eyes on me, I started to read the test.
We only had an hour.
In situations like this one, your future depends by only yourself. Making mistakes have consequences, and sometimes it's difficult to face them.
The first one was about decrypting a code, but it was obvious that it was impossible to solve. Even the smartest person in the world can't find the solution. No, I'm wrong. Maybe there's a way to resolve them, or maybe not. Maybe trying to is only a waste of time, maybe there aren't right answers. But then, why did they prepare a test such as this one? Why do they need to verify how smart we are? I mean, there are shinobis able to do things that an ordinary ninja can't do, even though they aren't so intelligent. What do they want us to do? Panicking 'cause of the tension?
Not knowing how to continue, I looked in the direction of Sasuke. He was thinking as well, trying to find answers to these questions. Glancing at the supervisors I noticed that they were writing all my actions down on their notebooks. I must be more careful.
I moved my gaze again to Sasuke, but this time he seemed to have found a way to pass. He was using his Sharingan. He's crazy! If he get caught, it's the end for the four of us and that's not great, of course.
Is he really trying to copy? That's not something he would do without a reason…
Hold on- copying is the solution! They want us to copy using our abilities and to demonstrate that shinobis shouldn't be noticed by the enemy, in this case by the observers.
Alright then, let's start.

“Sharinghan!” I hissed and began to examine the genin here in the room. “Should I copy from the guy in front of me?” being so busy talking to myself, I didn't notice that the others were starting copying, too.
Okay, now I feel dumb. Was it so easy to figure out? Or was I the only one who didn't know about it? Yeah, it took me a lot of time to get it and it's only thanks to Sasuke.
Sighing, I gently slapped my cheeks to focus again on what I was going to do. I just hope this guy isn't as stupid as me.
“Mhmm, interesting” The answers are right, I think. I just have to change a bit the words, so it won't be so obvious that I looked at this guy's test.

The examiner was passing by to verify at what point we were. He was coming near me, when he suddenly stopped. «Uchiha Y/n, is that right?» I quickly turned around to face him, «Yes, sir.» I replied with a nod. After that, he looked at my test with a grin «Oh, Uchiha's. Y'all are the same.» «I'm sorry?» He completely ignored my word and left me dumbfounded.
Was it a compliment or he was making fun of my clan somehow?
“Geez, what a nice person.” He kinda acts like Gaara and it's so annoying 'cause you can't understand whenever they're serious or if they're saying something good or bad.

Only ten minutes and then the first part of this exam is finally done.
Nine mins
Silence. Nobody dared to speak. Too afraid to.
Eight mins
Same as before.
Seven mins
Some of us were putting our pens down.
Six mins
Last review.
Five mins
Just another five minutes and we can leave.
Four mins
The time is passing. “Should I lend it?” Nah, I'll wait for the others. I don't want to be the first, it would make me more anxious.
Three mins
C'mon, still no one?
Two mins
It's about time.
One min
Sixty seconds, just sixty seconds.
Zero mins
Done.
Wait- not yet. The tenth question.
«Before I explain the last problem, I need to ask you something. There's a rule to respect for continuing the exam: it's simple, decide whether to attempt to try or not, it's your choice.»
Ah, taking decisions is so hard.
«But what if we don't want to try to? What will happen to us?» Temari asked and I could tell she was nervous. «All the points are going to be subtracted, so they will be 0; which means that you'll be ejected with the members of your team.»
«Well, then of course we'll attempt to, pff.» I whispered. «Wrong, Y/n.» I thought no one could hear me! «I think most of the people here will leave.»
«There's another rule, apart of what I have just explained. If you decide to not leave, but answer the question wrong then you'll forever be deprived of the opportunity to participate in the chunin exam! Raise your hand to leave.»
Oh, my god.
I don't want to seem a coward because I really want to pass this exam; plus me and Sasuke are the only Uchiha's in the Leaf Village, so we must demonstrate that even though our clan has been destroyed we're great shinobis like our parents and relatives. If I raise my hand, the image of our clan is going to be ruined and not only that! If I really give up now, Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke will have to repeat this exam. However, repeating it it's better than being a genin forever, right?
“What should I do?”
Ibiki-san was right, almost half of us raised their hand, even Naruto! We all looked at him with concerned and shocked faces. «You underestimate me! I won't give up!» I knew it, I knew it was impossible. Nonetheless, he could've just been quiet and not made this scene, Naruto always exaggerates. The examiner gave him a grin and then proceeded to explain.
«Alright then, to all the seventy-nine people here, I'd like to announce that y'all passed the exam.»
