To me fake friends are people who only know you when they are in need for assistance.

''A true friend is someone who sees the pain in your eyes, whiles everyone else only sees the smile on your face." These sagacious words are from my grandfather, the late Cornelius Ambrose. He was the brave and courageous hero of my family. Thus, his clever words were repeatedly drilled into my head and they were proven true.

Everyone has their own opinion on how to be aware of friends or things to be conscious of while picking out acquaintances. I have some valuable advice to share. Firstly, you have to be cognizant of who your friends are by listening carefully to the jokes, noting their support system and paying attention to the respectfulness. How do you be mindful of all of this? Firstly, watch the jokes that are being made . Most of the time, how they feel about you and insults they were waiting to say, will come in the form of jokes. They might cover it up and say  "Oh, I am just playing," but they really aren't. Beware and take note. Additionally, the support game plays a humongous roll in friendship. If your friends are always there for you through thick and thin, no matter the situation, and they speak nothing but positivity around you, then consider yourself blessed. Friends that are always looking for the best in you and other's are keepers. Most of all, the amount of respect a friend has for you and themselves really and truly matters. If they have no idea how to respect themselves, how will they know what to do with you and others ? If only negative words are in that persons vocabulary, then they don't believe that they are entitled to better. This will lead to them constantly downing you and others.  So, my advice is three simple words: LEAVE THEM ALONE!

Finding the right group of friends is very important , and it can be hard, but if you just follow these few tips on how to be mindful of friends, you are going to be just great. What did you learn about friends?
