Chapter : 59

Hope and Colleen began meeting very often to stay one step ahead of Sam. Doesn't matter how hard she tried to remember but she couldn't recall when and where she might've met Colleen before. Nonetheless, Hope now had not only one but two people who she could trust who for some apparent reason work with Sam.

Urvashi always suspected Colleen because she works with Sam but as time passed by, she began to show some faith towards Colleen as she knew one thing certainly that Colleen saved Hope and was with Her and not against her and that was the uttermost reason Urvashi never became a barrier between Hope and Colleen.

As Professor Sharma, Hope and the entire team was toiling on the machine every day, they were however unable to know the entire working of those Tele boards. Days has been passing by and Hope was yet to figure out how to operate the Tele-Boards properly.

Don't worry Hope we're barely one step behind. *Urvashi told Hope while sitting on the nearby swing as they all were in a public park*

It's ONE STEP Urvashi but we're yet BEHIND. *Hope asserted and stood next to Urvashi's swing while constantly sauntering hither and thither as she was unable to curb her nerves*

Professor Sharma is trying his best, we're one moment away from Sam heading back to his secret building and finding out that we took these Tele-boards. *Hope said anxiously*

Another year has arrived but nothing has improved. Sam's sham personality is thriving day by day and we're falling behind. You know what I saw in the forest and we couldn't even find any proof of that building. *Hope said*

If we go to the police then we'll forfeit our only chance to do anything against Sam.  Do you realise how crucial and subtle this matter has become now? We don't have time anymore *Hope told Urvashi as Urvashi got up from the swing as well*

Perhaps you're trying but in an erroneous way. *Colleen said as she arrived there as well *

Hope and Urvashi veered back and looked at her.

Perhaps you're just looking at things and not comprehending them, maybe you need to look more precisely and understand more deeply. *Colleen told Hope*

I don't understand Colleen. I've tried everything. I've read dad's documents,  not once, not twice but uncountable times. I've even asked mom for the letters and You know how she already believes that I will do some kinda experiment like dad without letting her know about it. *Hope told Colleen*

But you're doing an experiment like your dad without letting her know about it. *Urvashi mentioned*

Okay, you don't have to pick that up *Hope said annoyingly*

My bad. *Urvashi said*

You were saying? *She asked Hope*

I've to do it, Colleen, we have to complete the trials and put together an adequate working machine before Sam executes any malicious strategies. *Hope told Colleen*

The documents,  Hope, do you think you've looked thoroughly into everything about your dad?  *Colleen asked Hope*

Yeah... The documents,  the letters,  the photos...  THE PHOTOS? I saw the wedding album mom gave me,  she told me that my dad wanted her to present me that album as my graduation gift. *Hope stated in awe*

As you said, I just saw it, I haven't looked into it deeply, why would he want me to have that album? Colleen, Urvashi I've to go back and inspect the album again. *Hope said and went back to the Lab at Mr Sharma's house.

We'll come with you. *They both went back to the lab with Hope*

As they all entered the lab they saw Mr Sharma staring at the Tele-Boards with teary eyes as he got emotional looking that those things which he chose to protect but couldn't.
