Chapter 2

2 days later...

"Yujin-ah..." Wonyoung called out shakily to her which made her look over her shoulder and hum. "I appreciate that you asked me to go somewhere with you, but why are we here? It's so dark and gloomy." The girl said as she caught up with Yujin and held onto her arm, looking around this dark and abandoned part of the campus.

"What do you mean? The air is so fresh here." She inhaled deeply and let out a satisfied sigh while looking at Wonyoung who was petrified. "Can we just go somewhere else? I don't want to get eaten alive by mosquitoes." Yujin stopped walking and looked at Wonyoung, taking her arm off. "You're complaining?"

"No..." Wonyoung said and looked around. "There were rumours here stating that this place is haunted...a student died..." Yujin chuckled lightly and shook her head. "Don't worry, nothing will happen to you as long as I'm here." The latter assured Wonyoung as she slapped a mosquito on her arm. This place is a serious breeding spot for pests.

*rustle*

"Did you hear that?" Wonyoung said and stopped walking once they reached the mini pond. Yujin looked behind Wonyoung to see her two friends sneaking up on them wearing bedsheets over, acting as if they were ghosts. "Hear what?" Yujin asked while nodding as a signal for the two to act.

"That sound..." Wonyoung said as she felt a light tap on her shoulder, making her turn around and scream. "AHH!" Yujin smiled when she saw how the girl was frozen on the spot, feeling a little bad but she doesn't really care.

Before she knew it, Wonyoung started kicking the hell out of the two beings, punching them with much skill, leaving Yujin dumbfounded as she leaned against one of the brick walls. She blinked and continued watching how Wonyoung was killing her friends right in front of her eyes. The two of them ran away shortly after, screaming for their lives.

"Aigoo...who dared to scare me like that..." the girl dusted her hands while looking at the two fake ghosts running away.

Yujin held onto her chest as she saw Wonyoung turning around with a small and innocent smile on her face. "What are you...?" The girl made her way towards Yujin whose feet were glued to the floor from seeing how Wonyoung basically kicked ass a few seconds ago. "I learned a little taekwondo before like any other person..."

"Definitely not a little...are you black belt or what..." Yujin commented as she leaned further back towards the wall, hoping she doesn't die, seeing how Wonyoung is a total beast, unlike her skinny figure. "Did you get hurt?" Wonyoung asked as she checked Yujin's body. The girl shifted away sightly and shook her head, honestly trembling out of fear and about to cry.

"Oh no, your pretty face. Come on, let me walk you back to your room." Wonyoung said and gently tugged Yujin by the arm while the girl looked back to see if her friends are still there but saw nothing.

"You're more fragile than I thought," Wonyoung said as she constantly pats the dust away from Yujin's back, supporting the stunned girl out of the area. "I'll take good care of you from now on." Yujin blinked a couple of times as she smiled nervously.

Yujin got off Wonyoung's bicycle the moment she reached the dorm, passing the safety helmet back to her. "Do you want me to stay with you?" Wonyoung asked Yujin who frantically shook her head and waved at her, asking her to leave.

"Are you sure? You're not scared of the ghosts?"

"Nope...you can leave now." She used her hand and gestured. "I should rent the room next to yours so I'll know you're safe," Wonyoung said while keeping the other helmet in the basket.
