Next day...
Chaewon mustered up her courage and decided to head to Hyewon's room to talk to the older girl.
She took in a deep breath and slowly climbed up the stairs, constantly thinking about what to say when she stands in front of Hyewon.
The moment she reached the doorstep of the older girl's room, her feet glued onto the ground, one hand raised while she was busy nibbling on the thumb of her other hand.
She hesitated for a good minute, flinching when she heard a door being opened from behind her. Chaewon quickly turned around to see Yena who was holding onto a plastic bag of things, probably trash from her room.
"Oh? Chaewonie?" the duck tilted her head, a little surprised to see the younger here. "Hi...unnie." she stopped being all nervous while Yena walked towards her.
"What are you doing here?" she asked as Chaewon rubbed the back of her neck.
"Is Hyewon unnie in her room?" she shyly asked, cheeks starting to heat up.
Yena could visibly tell the girl was flustered to get caught outside their dorm.
"You're looking for her?" the older girl asked while Chaewon slowly nodded.
"I-I just want to talk to her." she stuttered out of nervousness while fiddling with her tiny fingers, making Yena smirk.
The duck placed the bag on the ground before folding her arms. "She's not here," she told her while Chaewon puckered her lips and looked down. She slowly nodded and turned around.
"Yah Choi Yena! I told you not to—oh shit." Hyewon subtly widened her eyes when her gaze met with Chaewon's as she slowly back paddled and shut the room door.
"What is she doing here?" she whispered to herself while Chaewon just stood out there all stunned, not knowing what just happened.
They have been ignoring each other for two whole weeks, maybe even three. It sure was awkward for Chaewon to be showing up in front of her room door.
"Unnie." the younger spoke and stood right outside Hyewon's door.
"Well, I'm not going to disturb this." Yena took the bag from the ground and made her way downstairs to dump it.
"Can...can I talk to you?" her voice trembled while Hyewon turned back to look at the door.
Her eyes turned cold as she let out a soft sigh. "No," she replied.
"You told me not to disturb you anymore. Why are you here?" she added while Chaewon inhaled a shaky breath, not knowing what to say.
"Can you just open the door?" the younger girl knocked a little but Hyewon shook her head.
"Nope. Not doing that. Why do you even want to talk to me? You said you hated me. I'm doing what you told me and that's not bothering you." the older retorted while leaning against the door.
"Can you just leave first? I'm not in the mood." Hyewon added before walking to her bed and lifting the blanket over her.
Chaewon let out a small sigh, blaming herself for making the older girl like this.
"I just...wanted to tell you how I really feel," she whispered before walking back to her room.

"Yujin-ah," Minju called out while lifting herself to sit on the kitchen counter, subtly swinging her legs. "Hm?" the girl responded, turning around with a cup of water in her hand.
