Two months later...
Yujin came down from the room, carrying her bag for training and went towards the kitchen to fill up her water bottle.
"It always comes around as I believed—"
Minju turned around when she heard feet shuffling. "Where are you going?" Yujin lifted her bottle away from the dispenser and looked at the older girl who was on the couch, lifting the guitar off her lap.
"It's my turn to have competition." she playfully uttered and chuckled, shoving the water bottle into her bag. "Right..." Minju softly mumbled, knowing how the younger girl's competition starts in a week.
"Why?" Yujin asked, seeing how Minju was slightly fidgeting with her fingertips.
"Hm? Nothing."
The taller girl walked towards the living room with Minju watching her movements.
"Give me your hand." The older girl looked at her fingertips and balled her hand into a fist while shaking her head.
Yujin let out a small sigh through her nose and took her hand, examining her fingertips that were reddened from pressing the guitar strings, probably busy preparing for the orientation performance.
"I'll be fine. It's not the first time." Minju took her hand back while the girl narrowed her eyes at her.
"You can go train." Minju patted her ass, asking her to go.
Yujin walked.
But instead of heading towards the kitchen to take her bag, she went behind and took out the first aid kit, grabbing a small tube of ointment and a band-aid.
She kept the box back and walked out to see Minju looking at her like a puppy being left at home, clearly wanting Yujin to stay.
Yujin sat down on the couch with the older girl turning back around, having her hand lifted by Yujin. She used her free hand and grabbed onto Minju's thigh, pulling her closer.
Minju watched as Yujin unscrewed the cap, squeezing out a tiny bit of ointment onto her fingertip before meticulously applying it onto Minju's middle finger.
The moment she did, Minju unknowingly stared at the younger girl who was carefully treating her finger, feeling a wave of butterflies greeting her chest.
After a period of time, these small little things still make her heart flutter endlessly, reminding her about the first time she helped Yujin treat her finger after long hours of playing the guitar as a beginner. Never did she know that the reverse would happen to her someday.
It makes her wonder, just when exactly did Yujin start to like her.
"Done staring?"
Minju blinked, realising how the younger was looking at her, gently wrapping the plaster around Minju's finger.
Yujin chuckled when the older girl got caught, gathering the bits and pieces of trash into her hand, picking up the ointment.
"Your eyes looked like they were about to pop out." the younger teased, making Minju jab her side, causing Yujin to laugh. "Aish..." Minju blushed, brushing her finger against the band-aid.
"Take a break. You've been going at it for hours." Yujin told Minju who nodded.
She put her left leg over Yujin's to prevent her from going anywhere.
"Just when did you start to like me?" She asked, earning a face of surprise while Minju folded her arms.
"Suddenly?"
