A week later...

Minju walked out of the bathroom with a small towel around her neck, glancing at the bedside table's small drawer, a petite smile instantly appeared on her face.

She looked at the girl who's currently still in slumber, seeing how her eyelids were slowly flickering.

She sat on the edge of the bed, busy wiping her face dry.

Yujin slowly roused up from the bed, blinking and rubbing her eyes to see better. "Where are you going?" she sleepily asked, eyes still a little hooded as she brushed her hair away from her face.

"Finals."

She chuckled, seeing how Yujin's eyes slowly widened.

"Why didn't you wake me up?"

The younger girl lifted the blanket but Minju stopped her from going anywhere.

"I'm not letting you go," she spoke and took off the towel while Yujin sulked, remembering what they talked about before going to bed last night.

She sat on her legs. "But I'm fine. I'm all good now. It's been a week. I don't need to rest." Yujin pleaded but Minju shook her head.

"You need to. There's going to be a lot of people and I don't want you to feel all uncomfortable halfway when I'm not there with you."

Minju walked back into the bathroom to hang the towel and came out to see Yujin pouting with a bedhead.

"I can just ask Nako to go with me, you'll not have to worry. I want to watch you play~" she tugged on Minju's sleeve but only received a head shake in return.

"Nako told me to tell you she's going on a date and not to bother her. What are you going to do if you end up fainting halfway?" she asked while combing the girl's hair using her fingers.

Yujin let out a small frown and slightly glared at her. "I won't faint. You said the doctor told you it's just mild anemia and it's nothing serious."

"I don't want you to be uncomfortable." she persisted as the younger knelt up and levelled her gaze with Minju, giving her a challenging stare.

She knows exactly what Minju is talking about—seeing Yeji.

"I'll come with you." she firmly said and slipped off the bed, heading into the bathroom.

The older girl watched and let out a small sigh, shoving her things into her duffle bag. She sat on the edge of the bed, changing out into her jersey, smiling to herself when she got reminded of last night.

"I swear I placed them here..." Minju fumbled through the drawer of her study table in hopes of finding one of her spare guitar strings that she'll be giving to Gyuri for the orientation performance since the girl accidentally broke them.

She let out a small sigh. "Yujin-ah, do you know where—" Minju turned around to see the younger girl already knocked out on the bed.

"And she still said she wasn't tired." she softly muttered and walked to her side of the bed, pulling out the drawer.

"Where is it..." she squinted, turning on the lamp but to no avail.

She let out another sigh and looked over the bed, walking towards the other drawer on Yujin's side.

She pulled out the drawer and smiled when she saw the set of strings in there, taking it out but something else caught her eye.

Minju tilted her head and picked it up, brushing her fingers over the cover of the book.
