A lot of the ideas I used here were ripped off from samseaa's story The Butterfly Effect. It isn't the exact same, and to be honest this is probably much more cringe than that story (and also its sequel which is currently still ongoing, Chaos Theory). So this story is subject to change or abandonment at any point in time because I think I have commitment issues.
However, some of the characters belong to me. The protagonist and her family, for instance, are my characters and no one else's. Other characters that were present in The Butterfly Effect may or may not appear, as well as headcanons that are portrayed in the aforementioned story.
And about this world... For those who have read it before, you will know that TBE takes place in a combined verse between both the movie and the series, located before the beginning of Season 5 but with the Secret Ninja Force and Sensei Garmadon present the entire time. Some of my own headcanons will be present here, too, and I somehow keep struggling between making it faithful to the book it originated from or making it into my own thing. Eventually, I decided I'd probably make it into my own thing.
Any prophecies, super powers, or even plot points might not be the same, but inspiration will still be drawn from The Butterfly Effect for my story. Also...

...I can't decide who my favorite Ninja is and because I can't help myself and there's probably something wrong with me, I might write books of Sylvia x other Ninja such as Cole and Zane (and that's about it tbh) and maybe even Morro? because Sylvia's a sweetheart and I can't choose.

This is purely self-indulgent and I need a comfort fic after I just finished watching Season 14: Seabound so you're not allowed to look at me like that. If you don't like it, you're more than welcome not to read it. I'll try as hard as I can to not make it cringeworthy even though I'm on Wattpad.
With all that said and done, this isn't my first time writing a romance fanfiction but I'm so fucking bad at it that it might as well be. Please bear with me as I try to move the plot along smoothly.
