Y/n's POV

I stood by Cloud Retainer and Moon Carver's side. And Xiao stood directly across me. I wasn't paying attention to the discussion. I was.. quite deep in thought. Is it possible that she finally controls me? Is Xiao going to turn on me? Did I.. become a monster..? ...

"Now that a plan has been formed, let's proceed to the Jade Chamber." Moon Carver interrupted my thoughts.

"I cannot go. I have somewhere to be." I told them a lie.

"Alright then, do join us when you are done." Cloud Retainer said before taking off towards the Jade Chamber. Mountain Shaper joined her in the sky and Moon Carver trotted on magical steps in the air.

Xiao didn't leave like the others, instead, he came up to me. "Y/n, before I go, I have to know one thing."

"Ask away then."

"Did I hurt you?" Xiao's expression softened and seemed desperate to know the answer to this weird question.

"No. What makes you think that?"

"You just... don't seem like yourself."

"Well anyway, you should go. They're waiting." I looked away, not wanting him to see through me. But I feel like a piece of paper with words written on everything that's wrong with me, and he's just reading me.

"... Call my name if you need me." He leaves in a blink of an eye, disappearing into thin air.

"Tch.. like you'll show up." I've called his name in the past back at Wangshu Inn but he never showed up. No. Stop that thinking. It's your fault he didn't want to show up. You called him every day before.

In rage with myself, I accidentally kicked a stone pebble on the floor. I went to pick up the pebble and examined it before throwing it again. Get it together Y/n! I told myself. Let's head to the Jade Chamber and pretend that everything's A-okay!

Along my way to the city, I felt a large tremor. The skies turned dark as it poured rain. A beast rose from the deep sea near Liyue Harbour, it was Osial, the Overlord of Vortex. But.. he was defeated long ago by Rex Lapis! What in Teyvat is he doing here!?

I made my way to the Jade Chamber as quickly as I could. There were 3 Guizhong Ballistas where the 3 Illuminated Adepti stood their ground. The traveller and other people were at the front lines, defending against the fatui. I summoned my bow and arrows and started shooting at the Fatui. (I can use multiple types of weapons.)

I never miss a shot. The fatui numbers dwindled and finally became a donut hole. The 3 Illuminated Adepti focused their powers and attacked the Overlord of Vortex. Osial rebelled, concentrating his powers into one massive sphere that shot in the sky. He launches more attacks, breaking the Ballistas and shattering the platform. The Adepti and I quickly went to catch those who fall and return to the Jade Chamber landing.

"Be careful now," Xiao says to the traveller.

"The Guizhong Ballista is destroyed... Without its covering fire, retaliation shall be difficult." Cloud Retainer stated.

"But the Jade Chamber is our last line of defence! We can't give another inch... no matter what..." Ganyu, another Adeptus, said.

"I have... another idea," the lady in white said with much determination.

"What do you mean, Lady Ninguang?"

"I'll sacrifice the Jade Chamber."

With the help of the Adepti and I, the Traveler plunges a sword into the Jade Chamber and it plummets into Osial.

We escaped the huge explosion, finding ourselves at the docks of Liyue Harbour.

"Is it... finally over?" The pixie asked.

"The ominous aura of that monster has indeed begun to fade," I replied.

"The effects of the Sigil of Permission last but a short time. It will be some time before the Overlord of the Vortex can make any waves again." Moon Carver added.

The Adepti and Qixing started squabbling about something before finally agreeing on something when a few citizens came by.

"Let us return now." Xiao made his way out of the Harbour.

"...Eager to leave, Conqueror of Demons?" Said, Moon Carver.

"Yes, one understands what the Conqueror of Demons means. The city of Liyue has changed much after our long separation. One fears that by the time one finally grasps the new contracts of Liyue, you humans would have once again changed the place beyond recognition. Fair enough. Away we shall, and return whence we came..." Mountain Shaper gave a lengthy speech.

One by one the Adepti leaves the Harbour.

I made my way to the place now known as Mingyun Village. The place was a ghost town. I come here whenever I need time to myself. With my former god in my head, I had to find some way to get it out.

"Movo unta nye kucha, mi dada tiga mitono!"

I rolled my eyes as I summoned my bow and arrows, turned around and released the arrow at a hilichurl.

"Leave me in peace.." I whispered in frustration to no one in specific. However, hilichurls are never alone. A mitachurl showed up with hilichurl shooters. I sheathed my bow and summoned my polearm. I charged at my enemies with rage, piercing them where it hurts. Stop... I'm losing control... No matter what I told myself, I kept going. I kept stabbing the bodies of my enemies. This karmic debt is a pain...

Once the hilichurls and mirachurl's body dissipated, I threw my polearm to the ground tip first, letting it stand on its own. What's wrong with me... Nothing is wrong with you, F/n~ just embrace the hatred I have, let it all out.

"Get out of my head!" I shouted to the air.

"Y/-" I picked up my polearm and attacked a blurred figure. They countered my attack. I could feel myself getting consumed with hate and so much rage. I kept fighting off the figure who made no effort to fight back.
