It was this very evening that the Abyss' plan of attack on Mondstadt would be put into action. Gorm is deployed to survey Timmie's bridge to prepare for battle.
Gorm looms around an apple tree nearby, gathering fallen apples as he giggles mischievously to himself and awaits further orders. Luckily, there is no sign of Diluc yet. Instead, he feels the evening air grow colder around him. It is a strange eerie feeling, as if someone is watching him.
The Hydro Abyss Mage glances around cautiously. Perhaps, it is just him imagining things.
Gorm lets out a sigh, wedging himself between two rocks beside the tree. He hopes that he wouldn't have to do any fighting this time.
As he munched into an apple, he felt a light tap on his shoulder from behind. Gorm turns to face a blue-haired man with an eyepatch who was crouching down behind him.

"Hello," the man smiles.

Gorm screams. Before he could form his Hydro shield, the blue-haired man grabbed him with his two hands. The Hydro Abyss Mage squirms, too panicked to do anything.
"There, there, I'm not here to hurt you, Gorm," the man says, sitting the Abyss Mage back onto the rock. The mage could barely breathe in his tight grasp. "I would just like to know a few things."
"H-how do you know my name?" Gorm asks in shock. This man knows his name AND speaks Khaenri'ahn.
The man lets out a chuckle.
"I'm Kaeya, one of you. I know everything I should," he says, "now do tell me, what are you doing here? You know it's not a good idea to face my brother with nothing but YAAAA hilichurls."
Gorm is speechless. There was no point lying.
"I... Boss sent me here. We were going to attack the city. I'm here to survey the area."
Kaeya sighs, then gets up.
"Alright then, good luck. Bye."
"W-wait! So you're going to leave? Just like that?" Gorm exclaims in confusion.
The man turns with his back to the Hydro Abyss Mage, and walks back to the city without another word.
