Chapter 41

Lisa POV

I stomp my feet exited from the changing room. So whats her problem now, she can't lay a single finger to Jennie. I rushed to her office clenching my fist.

"Uh... D-dr. Manoban? Wait--" her secretary got up on her chair trying to stop me.

"I don't care." I pushed her door hard.

"She's in the middle of a meeting! You can't just interrupted them all of a sudden." Too late.

"Somi. We need to talk. Now!" I can see the other girl her side that she startled of what I did, bragging to the office of the director without a knock. Somi look at me from her side, her face stay in a calm like she's expecting this. My blood boiled knowing she had a copy of Jennie's medical history.

"I... I'm so sorry, Ma'am... I-I tried to warn her,but... She's not hearing me out at all..." Her secretary stuttering at my back scared what the director will gonna do to her. I just rolled my eyes and went to her front table.

"It's fine. You two leave us be for now."

"Y-yes, Ma'am..." The door closed. I clench my fist again remembering what she does.

"Why so hasty, Dr. Manoban? Is there something I need to know? Why not have a seat?" She pointed the chain in front of her.

"No. You think I dont know what you are up to ? I don't care what you do to people or what kind of sex you're having with them. But keep your professional career out of this." She glance at me and clasp her hand below her chin. I can feel the anger inside me seeing her calm.

"Oh? And may I ask what special relationship you have with Ms. Kim? It's fully within my prerogative as Director of this hospital to be able to examine the chart of a patient, wouldn't you say...?" Her index finger tap her chin and she looked at me with that evil eyes of hers.

She smirked.

"Or... Is it because she's your new girl? Hmhm... This isn't like what I've heard about you at all, Lisa." I clench my jaw.

"That's none of tour business." She got up from her chair. The tip of her finger trace the table infront of us.

"'I've already thrown the stupid concept of love away'... Wasn't that how the story was supposed to go? But then again... Being so close to death at such a young age... Even I would understand that kind of sentiment." The anger inside of my body wants to exit.

Thats it...

"I don't care about why you're so interested in her medical history... And I don't give a damn about what you're planning on doing, but let me say this now." I pointed my finger to her.

"If I EVER catch you lying a single finger on her... I am going to hunt you down. I swear to God, don't you even think about running away from me if something happens to her. Take this as your final warning." I turn my back to her and ready to go cuz I cant stop my angry anymore.

"Hmph! Looks like this one's really got you wrapped around her finger. What are you going to do? KILL ME?" I continue walk to the door not minding what she's talking.

"What makes you think you haven't already!!? I've been dead the day you ROBBED this hand from me!!" I stoped. Her voice roaring inside her office and I just clench my fist again. I gulp hard and continue to get out from her office.

Who can forget what happened that day.
