Chapter 25

Third Person POV

Time passed and still Nancy is unconscious.

Nurses and Lisa preparing the things they need in the OR. When all done, they move Nancy in operating room to start.

They are all ready and give the all things Lisa needed in operation.

"Thank you. Now then. Ladies and gentlemen... Let us begin the operation." Lisa informed the Nurses so they can start the operation.

"Scalpel..." The assistant nurse handed in.

The room is silent. The only they can heard is the machine connecting the body of the nurse.

Operation was smooth but the tense is visible on their faces because it is Nancy their colleague.

Lisa is also tense because she know how hard the situation of the girl in front of her. She's sweating, the nurses are glancing her minutes by minute, but her assistant wiped it so it didnt distract her.

"Suction."

Hours passed but they are still in the operating room. It's already 9am but the operation is still ongoing.

In the other side, Jennie is just wake up.

"Oh, shoot... I really must have passed out... its already like ten." She yawned and stretch her body before she went out to her room.

She went to Lisa's room to check if the Doctor is already home.

"Doc? Huh... She's not here. Don't tell me... Is the operation still going...?" She mumble and concern is visible in her face.

The other side.

The operation is done. You can see in their faces how tired they are because of the long operation.

"Let's suture up the incision and then take her to the ICU to monitor her condition. Alright we're done here." Doctor Lisa announced so they wrapped out.

"Yes,Doctor" they all said in unison.

Lisa went to her office and take her rest in their. She cant deny to herself that shes concern for Nancy's condition. She's stress seeing Nancy full of bruises and unconscious body.

"God... DAMN it!!!..." She sternly cursed and grit her teeth.

Even if the operation went fairly smoothly...

Nancy isn't out of the red just yet... She's going to need close observation.

She thought.

The doctor immediately change her clothes and went again to the ICU to check Nancy.

She can see the nurse outside because of the glass window.

She honestly was nosey and kind of a hassle, but...

I never would have imagined I'd have to see her like this.

Her mind was cloudy and full of thoughts that she didnt recognise Nayeon was in her side.

"Go get sone rest, Lisa. You've been sitting here for hours now, you know that ?" She glance Lisa. The other doctor can see Lisa's concerned face.( Nayeon is also a doctor here. I'm sorry if I write nurse in past chapters.)
