Chapter 23

Third person POV

Nancy saw Jennie's picture in the floor with the papers. She only lower her head.

"Oh... This girl..." She mumble.

Lisa pick all the papers and arrange.

"Ah... Yeah, I remember her... I saw her talking to you once. She must be the reason you've changed so much... Ever since she came into the picture, you haven't been the same at all..." She said in a lower tone. She's hurt because she love Lisa but the Doctor's not.

Nancy is right. Lisa changed when Jennie came to her life. She didnt noticed herself that she changed because of Jennie. She didnt go to the bars like before, she didnt hook up with the girls anymore.

"I fail to see that has to do with you." Lisa stand up and ready to go. She dont want to admit to Nancy that she changed. She only admit it to herself.

"Hmf... Have you forgotten your duties as a Doctor? Getting overly involved with your patients is against the rules. That's unethical behavior." Nancy said of nowhere.

Lisa quickly turn around and push the nurse on the wall. She pinned Nancy, her right arm is level the head of the nurse.

She gritted her teeth and stare at Nancy's eyes deeply. The nurse surprised because she didn't know that was coming. Her mouth is hang open.

She only stare at Lisa's eyes feeling scared because this is the first time she saw Lisa with that attitude.

"So what? What's it with you if it is!? Are you threatening me, Nancy? I can date- no, I could even fuck her if  I choose to with 'zero' repercussions." She smirk and lean closer to Nancy's face.

Lisa didnt want to hurt Nancy's feeling but she cant resist what the Nurse said earlier.

"Because Im not her doctor. You're not...jealous, are you? You used to be my favourite, you know. --oh, I'm sorry-- my favourite toy,thats it." She whisper and mockingly said. The nurse didnt bother to move because she know that Lisa is mad.

The doctor slowly put her right leg to Nancy's center. She only gulp because of the act of the doctor.

"Don't flatter yourself, Nancy. Even if you call it quits with that guy..." Lisa slowly release Nancy.

"All things will come to an end eventually  and even if we're still... Involved... Our relationship,too, will soon cease to exist." She walked to the door and said that.

She cant give the love what Nancy want. She clarify that she only give the pleasure they need and noting more

She stop in the front door and she slightly glance Nancy above her shoulder.

"Take that as your final warning. These are my own personal affairs. So piss off." She went out of the room and release a heavy sigh.

Lisa POV

I nearly lost my temper earlier. Thank god that I suppressed.

I take off my spec and remember what I said earlier to Nancy.

"What am I even saying...?" I mumbled.

Sex, with Jennie?

Surely, that's much easier said than done...

Even with her consent...considering all of the risks, so many things could go wrong.

The strain it'll put on her heart during intercourse.
