TWO.

It was half past 10. The cold starting to nip at Kara's ears as she uses her hand to warm them.

The line was starting to get shorter, her only a few people away from finally being able to get on the huge wheel.

As a few more minutes go by, a smile was able to appear on  Kara's face. As she hands her ticket over, she gets in the yellow ferris wheel seat. Making sure to balance herself and contain her excitement.

She sits down, eyes roaming the familiar ride as her attention then goes to her right. Only then remembering that there had to be someone else with her on the ride.

As she scans the "stranger" she was to be seated with, she gets a view of his face. Although it was late at night, it was impossible for you to not see anything at all when the lights from the carnival were bright. So when she recognized who it was, she froze in her seat, him doing the same as the worker snaps them two out of it. Kara sliding to the left of the seat as he then gets in.

"Renjun"

"Kara," they both say, not making eye contact as the safety bar falls perfectly in front of them.

"Didn't know you liked the ferris wheel," Kara remarks, looking to the left as they slowly start to move up. The ride stopping expectedly as more people get in from behind them.

"Yeah I... go everytime its in town," he answers, this catching Kara's attention as she turns to look at him.

"Really?" she asks, him humming in reply.

She hadn't seen him in a while, especially not this close up. He was still as attractive as ever. His hair now dyed blonde with black roots, his ends a faded purple. His style had changed too. Or maybe Kara thought that because the most she ever saw him was in a uniform anyway.

Kara hums, her head facing the front once again as they continue to go up. Stopping in between to switch out the passengers.

"This is gonna be a long 20 minutes," she mumbles, closing her eyes as she waits for the ride to finally start.
