"Kara," he called, the girl looking up as they both make eye contact.

"Yeah?" she replies, looking away as she still felt those good butterflies whenever they looked at each other.

"What happened?"

And that, that was what broke them both. The atmosphere around Kara dropped as she felt a pang in her heart. Renjun had winced the moment he said it, immediately regretting his words as he could tell the girl froze from what he said.

"Sorry. I didn't mean it like that..." he said softly, Kara humming in reply as she answers.

"It was my fault, y'know"

To this, Renjun's eyebrows furrowed. "What? No, it was mine"

Kara painfully chuckled, "What did you ever do wrong? I was the one who decided to forget we ever... confessed."

"Kara, we both decided to forget we ever confessed," Renjun starts, the girl shaking her head as she looks down. "I got impatient and frustrated, honestly"

"Makes sense. I would be too," she replies, Renjun now shaking his head.

"If I really liked you, I personally would've waited. Hell, I'd give you all the time in the world if it meant I'd end up with you," he explains, sighing as Kara still wouldn't look at him.

"Lim Kara," he starts, looking down as he couldn't believe he was doing this. "I'm still waiting for you, y'know"

With this, Kara turned to look him. Her eyes wide as Renjun further explained, "I still like you too."
