"So whenever you ask me again, how I feel, please remember that my answer is you."
Namjoon and Yoongi were once friends that had blossomed into something more, but both producers were too caught up with their own lives to notice the cracks that form...

"Even if we have to go back a long way, I will still feel the same way about you. We'll be alright, I want to try again."
"Here, Hyung, I got you coffee," Namjoon spoke as soon as he entered Yoongi's studio.
Yoongi immediately blinks and looks away from the bright screen in front of him, and turns around with a hidden but not-so-hidden smile on his face just to see that Namjoon indeed has brought him a cup of coffee just like always.
"How far along have you finished? There were some problems that I had finishing that part of the song because the program that I used suddenly backfired on me, but I figured it out eventually."
He released a loud and exhausted sigh as he gratefully took the cup of coffee from the younger and took a small sip first of the hot liquid before speaking and answering Namjoon's usual questions about how he is going through the song, "Well, I almost accidentally deleted all the progress that I made over the weekend after accidentally falling asleep on my keyboard the other day."
Namjoon took off his jacket and took a seat on the couch against the wall. Yoongi smiles through the coffee cup that he is drinking from as he watches the younger act comfortably around his own studio. It has been a while since their first day of collaboration, and Yoongi cannot help but feel proud of what they have achieved as friends (?).
Yoongi doesn't really know if he can call them friends when he just sees Namjoon as Namjoon. Although he doesn't know what the said man thinks about him, he assumes that Namjoon feels the same way.
The younger then suggests, "How about taking a short break, Hyung? I also heard from Jin Hyung that you haven't eaten anything since this morning, so I took the initiative to order something for lunch so you'll have something in your stomach."
"Taking care of me, I see?" Yoongi teases the younger as he brings the cup of coffee to his lips once again. Being taken care of Namjoon is a new thing for the both of them since it was usually Yoongi who would take care of Namjoon back when they were still together.
Namjoon doesn't respond but shrugs and merely huffs, not denying Yoongi's accusations, which only makes him curious about Namjoon's true intentions for acting like this even if he doesn't need to do anything.
The food finally arrives, and as usual, the two of them eat lunch inside Yoongi's studio. It became a routine for them, and Yoongi is glad to know that Namjoon still remembers his likes and dislikes and did not suggest eating outside in public with other people because he knows that Yoongi doesn't like crowded places ever since the first time Namjoon asked him if he wanted to each lunch together.
For peace. But it wasn't actually for peace. It was just an excuse to spend more time with Yoongi, and they both knew it but decided not to talk about it or point it out even if their friends did.
