It was in the middle of the night when I felt something was wrong. I just felt it, my eyes opened and I looked around, we were in Ambrose's room.
And then I heard a whine, and my gut said it was Coco, it was when my senses came to me and I threw away the hand wrapped around me and ran over to Coco.
The dogs slept where I slept, since I would mostly sleep with Ambrose, he got a special bed made for them.
I switched on the light to see Coco in his own vomit, which was bloody, and Kiki pacing around.
"Coco" I screamed and I went to him. He whined as he saw me and his tail moved a bit.
Now, even Ambrose woke up.
"Fuck" he says as he quickly goes in the dressing room while I grab and tissue and start cleaning his face. He kept on whining; I felt my heart break.
I held my tears at bay.
Ambrose came out and gave me a sweater, I wore it and he picked up Coco and both of us ran out, I grabbed a leash, water bottle, blanket, his reports and one phone.
We ran to the garage and got in the first car, he placed Coco on me and I made his head rest on my lap and I covered him in a blanket as he was shivering.
