Chapter 4

PREVIOUSLY

''That little brat..'' you scowled to yourself.

''Pfft-'' you heard from behind you and as you turned, you were met with Shinichiro pushing his way in, together with your bike by his side.

''What!?''

''Nothing, nothing- sorry.'' you huffed at that, very much on the verge of a mental breakdown at this point.

''Seriously.. what did I do to deserve this?''

Now, it has been quite a while since you came crashing down the road and taking shelter at Shinichiro's shop.

And as he had suggested before, he is fixing up your bike right now.

At first, you honestly didn't think that it would be such an easy work for him since the ride was pretty damaged, but the guy proved you wrong. He looked very elated tinkering with it. 

It was probably due to his love for the model of your bike- if you remember correctly, his younger brother said it was his favorite and that he wanted to buy one for himself. 

You mentally shrugged your shoulders, letting the male drown in his world. 

A few conversations were started and were ended quite fast, it was most likely because of his awkward side which appeared when he was in the presence of the opposite gender. 

However, you found that behavior endearing- it reminded you a bit of Ken's. It was cute.

A few cigarettes were used up too. The space surrounding you filled up by the smell was not bothering you very much. You didn't mind it.  

But as the topic of siblings came up, you two opened up and started conversing as if you both had known each other forever. 

Your love for your siblings showing through the awkwardness.

Sharing embarrassing stories and laughing at them. It was relaxing. 

''Did he seriously do that?! And Emma joined in?!'' you laughed out loud as Shinichiro looked betrayed as he remembered that memory.

''Yeah, can you believe it?! I expected something like that from Mikey, but not from her! And I was about to even get the girl's number!'' he continued complaining as you laughed even harder.

The current topic being his failed attempts at asking a girl out because of his brother and sister. These two were even worse than Ken!

''And how many times did this happen exactly?'' you asked as you wiped away a tear.

He stayed silent for a moment but the quietly said: ''11 times..''

''Pfft-'' and cue your laughter again.

''Don't laugh, okay?! It was honestly very traumatic experience!''

''For you or the girl?'' 

''Oh come on! For me, of course! Do you know how it feels when your younger siblings go to the girl you like and start saying that my fart and I smell bad, that my hairstyle is horrible and that I suck at everything! It was terrible!'' he ranted.

''Yes yes, of course, it's terrible-'' 

''Why do I feel like you are not taking me seriously right now?''

''Probably because I am not?'' you said in the same questioning tone he used.

''Stop it or else I'm not going to finish up your bike.'' he threatened.
