We finished off our first ever tour successfully, the last two shows going a lot better than the previous one. We all had so much fun but we agreed that would would all settle down in LA to start writing our first record. We all planned to take a small break, doing our own stuff before we eventually met at a designated studio that we already booked in advance. We were all stood at the airport now as everyone said goodbye to Nino and I. Everyone was planning to stay at Emmy's house, Mads' friend, until we returned. I surprised Nino with VIP tickets to see Pierce the Veil, her favorite band since we met each other.

"I guess we'll see each other in a couple of weeks," Nina sighed, looking at us with sad eyes.

"I'm gonna miss you guys so much," Bert frowned, his stuffed duck clung in his arms.

"It's only a couple weeks, you idiots," Tay butted in with a chuckle, playing with the spiked bracelet hung off her wrist.

"Okay, we have to go. Nino and I's flight is leaving right now," I said, glancing at the departures screen.

"Okay, so the plan is that we all fly to LA in a couple weeks right?" Alex double-checked, raising her eyebrow.

"Yes, bye now!" Nino waved.

We all hugged each other before I grabbed Nino's arm and we began to make our way towards our gate. We climbed onto the escalator and turned around to wave at everyone one last time. I smiled sadly as I saw that Mads had tears in her eyes, holding up a hand heart to the both of us. Nino blew a kiss to her just as they went out of our view.

I turned to Nino after we lost sight of them, smiling at her.

"You ready for this concert? I can't believe I managed to save up the money for VIP," I exclaimed as we stepped off the escalator.

"I can't wait to see Tony!" Nino squealed, her eyes crinkling from the massive smile plastered onto her face.

I chuckled at her fan-girling as we stepped into the line for security.

😇

I followed Nino as she led me to the back of the plane, trying to find our seats. I rolled my eyes as we passed a wailing child, it's crying getting on my nerves instantly.

"Found them!" Nino told me, stopping at the row all the way at the back of the plane.

"Sick, which seat do you want?" I asked as I opened the overhead bin and stuck our small suitcases into it.

"I'll take the window seat, if that's alright with you?" Nino questioned, stopping to look at me.

I nodded as I gestured for her to sit, closing the overhead bin. I sat beside her, plopping into my seat and buckling my seatbelt. I let out a relieved sigh as she leaned her head onto me, letting out a small yawn.

"Try to sleep, we have a long flight ahead of us," I told her, plugging my headphones into my phone.

We were flying from the UK all the way to LA in one flight, it was about ten hours. I knew we would both probably sleep throughout the entire thing so I wasn't too worried about it. I offered Nino one headphone, sticking it in front of her face. She gratefully accepted it as I played my playlist full of both of our favorite songs, the heavy guitar of "Shadow Moses" filling both of our ears. I shut my eyes as Oli Sykes' voice rang in my ear, sleep overtaking the both of us almost immediately.

😇

"Wake up, we're here," Nino shook my shoulder aggressively.

I woke up startled, squinting at the sunlight peering though the small airplane window.
