I rubbed my arm quickly, beginning to shiver from the cool night air. I drove the car key into the lock, opening the driver's door. I plopped myself down in my seat as I unlocked the door for Nino. I shut my door as she sat down, a creak emitting from the old seat.

I stuck the key into the ignition, about to turn the RV on, as I hear soft snoring. I pause as I turn around, my eyes landing on everyone sound asleep. I smiled as I noticed Mads and Tay were cuddled against one another, as Nina, Alex, and Bert all had each other's heads on the other person's shoulder.

"Nino, you seeing this shit?" I whispered, my eyes flickering back and forth between Nino and the others.

"What if I just randomly yelled and woke them all up?" she snickered, pulling out her phone to snap a quick photo of them.

I shoved her playfully, "Don't even think about it, fucker," I laughed quietly as I turned on the RV, the engine coming to life.

Nino giggled softly, opening up the compartment in front of her and taking out our basket full of CDs. She flipped between them, her eyebrows furrowed.

"You up for some Bring Me?" she asked, pulling out There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let's Keep It a Secret.

"I'm always up for some Bring Me, put it in. Play it quietly through, I don't wanna wake them," I advised, messing around with the air vents as she opened up the CD case.

I fiddled with the temperature knobs as Nino carefully inserted the CD into the radio, the first track beginning.

Lee's guitar filled up the entire car, covering up the sound of everyone's snoring.

"Almost seven years later and we're both still obsessed with this album," I teased, reversing out of our parking spot.

"It's a masterpiece, how could anyone not like this?" Nino commented, buckling her seatbelt.

"Fair enough," I agreed, switching the gear and starting our trek towards our next destination.

"You need me to pull up the GPS?" Nino asked,  untying her shoes and slipping them off.

I turned towards her as she brought her knees up to her chest, adjusting herself to sit comfortingly on the seat.

"I think I'll be able to figure it out on my own. We're heading up to Sheffield, correct?" I flicked on the signal as I swerved onto the highway, picking up speed.

"Yeah, just follow the signs. There's one right there," she pointed, the car lights reflected off the sign.

"Okay, cool" I bopped my head along to the music, "It Never Ends" had just started playing.

I heard Nino hum along to the song, her head turned towards the window, she watched the outside blur as we zoomed down the highway.

"About two hours and we'll make it to the venue. I think Mads has a friend that can offer a place for us to chill at. Our show is in two days so we can rest up for now," I began, a bored look on my face as I continued to drive.

A few moments pass and I receive no response. I frown as I turn towards Nino, who's fallen asleep. I quickly turn down the music as I divert my attention back towards the road.

I stand to slightly from my seat, as I strain to look over the dashboard for a parking spot. I grunt angrily as I hit my hand softly against the steering wheel, not finding a big enough spot for our RV. I back out of the Tesco parking lot as I return back to the main road, settling for parking on the side of the road for now.

I let out a relieved sigh as I kill the engine, only leaving the heater and radio to continue working. I rub my hands together, attempting to heat them up. I shrug off my jacket and toss it over Nino, covering her bare arms. I flicker my gaze towards the back seats, noticing that Mads was the only one awake.

Her hair was a mess as she looked at me with groggily eyes. She adjusted her glasses as she pulled her jacket against her tightly. She pushed herself off of Taylor, who had her arm around Mads' shoulder.

"Rise and shine," I greeted, tucking a stray piece of hair behind my ear.

"Morning," Mads replied sleepily, rubbing her eyes with her clenched fist.

I flicked my wrist as I read the time on my watch, it was two in the morning. Our gig had ended around midnight and I had driven about two hours. We arrived at the venue but I had decided to take a detour to the nearest grocery store, as we had to stick up on some basic necessities.

"You up for a small Tesco trip?" I questioned, retying my loose shoelace.

"Yeah, that's fine with me," Mads agreed, carefully slipping away from everyone. She quietly opened her door and stepped out.

She shivered as the wind picked up, "British weather can be so annoying sometimes."

"True," I commented, softly shutting my door and locking it.

We began to walk towards the entrance of Tesco, the parking lot surprisingly had an average amount of cars.

"What are we buying?" Mads turned towards me, pushing her glasses farther up her nose.

"Uh, just some basic stuff for now. You know, soap, tissues, water, some snacks. We don't have a lot of money as of right now," I cringed as I said the last part of the sentence, not wanting to face the reality of us being on a very low budget.

"Understandable. We just need to sell some merch," Mads suggested as we walked through the entrance.

I rubbed my shoes against the mat, stuffing my hands into my pockets. The tip of my nose was cold in contrast to my warm cheeks.

"It feels amazing in here," Mads moaned, taking a deep breath.

I nodded as I grabbed a shopping basket, Mads leading the way towards the hygiene aisle. We both stood in front of the soaps, as we conversed on what to get.

"Should we just get the 3 in 1?" I asked, biting my nails out of habit.

"Yeah, just get it for now," Mads said, grabbing it off the shelf and setting it into the basket.

"Alright, off to the food section now."
