𝐘𝐔𝐀 𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐈 had it worse. There was never a day where she found peace in the place she has been enslaved for the last ten years of her life. Was it her fault? No, definitely not.

However, it eventually did become hers once she realized how uncanny her instability was, considering she has dementia causing her to think shambolically, unlike a normal person.

But what Yua Otani did know was that heaven forbade her to feel such emotions. She can never be happy and be able to smile genuinely. Because whenever she did, it's either she's holding a knife or acting as the physical embodiment of how people see an uncontrollable psychopath.

Yet, even after having to slit the throats of the very same people who 'took care' of her inside a godforsaken asylum just to fill her unending starvation for petty ecstasy, she's somehow still alive ...because she's protected by the law.

"So... how's life, Kosei?"

Right after inhaling her vape, she laxly uttered. Yua sat in front of her identical twin brother across a circular and badly scratched table, her half-opened faux eyes looking straight at the formally dressed blondie in front of her.

Her brother has finally visited her, after years of barely being in contact with each other. So now, they're both inside a private parlor given only to important guests deserving of such luxury. Kosei was bowing his head, showing no complete signs of emotion as Yua stared at him, exhaling as the vape smoke came out of her mouth and nose. Talk about visitors, how rude. She sighed, disappointment going through her.

Indeed years have passed ever since she had seen her brother. How differently did he act, she can tell the difference so easily that she could only then hide the pain of not having to experience seeing him grow up.

Considering that she got into juvie at the age of thirteen, and is transported into a medical hospital for the mentally ill because of being pointed out as a 'psychopath' for doing a crime that left dozens of families childless, then it is reasonable how both of them struggled to communicate.

Even so, after a few moments of dreadful silence, her brother─ Kosei Otani didn't answer her question which eventually left her to form an anguished face.

She tapped her finger on her cheek, tilting her head as she looked at her brother with tired and questioning eyes. She was desperate for attention from a person she actually wanted to receive happiness from.

"I haven't seen you for ten years, big bro. Is that really what you're gonna give me? Silence?"

As she spat that, she was taken aback when suddenly, Kosei raised his head and aggravated looked at her with a glare. His similarly faux yellow eyes glared at Yua's with such burning hatred. Not oblivious that her brother was acting like this, she chortled in amusement.
