Chapter 12

The doctor just gave me Michael's report and said that he should wake up in about a week.

I haven't left his bed side since the doctor said that. I wanted to be the first thing he saw when he woke up.

After Luke disappeared that day when I told him about Calum he hasnt really texted me.

C-hey haven't talked to u in a few days text me plz miss u😘
L-sorry babe. I've been really busy lately. I stopped by UR house and UR mom gave me a bunch of school work that the principal gave her that U had to do and if u could finish it he would excuse UR absences.
C-thanks. R u gonna come up here today?
L-maybe. I've got some stuff to finish

Ugh. I just wanted to see him. I felt like he was leaving me too, just like everyone else.

Lukes POV

I'm gonna kill Calum. I thought as I drove out of town.

I was driving out to an old friends house. I had to deal with this before Claire, Michael, or my mum got hurt.

I pulled into the dark forest as the the road got rougher and my radio station got scratchier and scratchier.

I pulled up the hill I could feel the air just getting thinner. I parked my car and got out and started walking.

I walked and walked until I saw the small house I was looking for.

I walked in and yelled "Jack!" I didn't hear any answer. "Ben!" I yelled.

I felt my arms pinned behind my back and a gun placed to my head. "Who are you?!" I heard my brother yell.

"Do you not even recognize your little brother?" I said and they released me with a quiet 'sorry Luke'.

"What brings you here?" Jack asked.

"I'm in trouble." I said.

"What did you do this time?" Ben said with a disapointed look on his face.

"Okay, so Calum tried to get me to 'get rid of' these two people and I was gonna do it, but I fell in love with this girl and I realized that Calum was a terrible person and hethreatenedmomandmeandsaidthehewouldkillusifididntdoit." I said quickly and Ben and Jack both looked dumbfounded.

We sat in silence for a bit until Ben said, "Crap Luke why did you get us in so much trouble?" And Jack rolled his eyes.

"That still doesn't explain why your here though." he said.

"I need your help to protect Claire and Mum." I said and they nodded their heads.

"We'll do it."

A/N I know that this is way way way to short but I just really needed to get something up really quickly so yeah.

I have a mission for U guys who I'm not already following. (And even if I am go ahead and do it anyway if u love me)
