My new lock screen is life

Claire's POV
"Oh my gosh I have too much stuff!" I complained jumping on my suitcase to try and close it.

"Claire if you fold the stuff it may actually fit." My mother laughed zipping my bathroom bag with all my make up and soap and lotion.

"But that would require work." I whined.

"I don't know how you'll ever keep a job.... which you'll have to get to help Luke pay for bills may I add." My mom said pointing at me.

"I applied for a internship at the hospital actually." I said.

"I didn't know you could do that this young?" She said.

"Yeah. If your planning on going into the medical field most hospitals will let you. I'll be doing mine for surgery." I said excitedly. I had always thought it was interesting and liked helping people.

"Well I think that'll be fun." She said wrapping up my jewelry box with bubble wrap.

"Well I think this is it mom." I said and turned to see her wiping her eyes.

"Mom are you crying?! Don't cry I'm only going down the road. I'm close enough that I could walk here." I said running up and hugging her.

"It's not that it's just that your all grown up and Thorn is gone and me and your dad had planned that as soon as this happened we would travel but now..." she trailed off and I knew what she was getting to.

"I know mom. I'll call every night and visit as often as I can I swear." I said.

She nodded, "Luke! Thorn!" Can you help Claire put her things in the car?!" She yelled out the door.

Thorn was downstairs interrogating Luke.

They both walked into my room Luke grabbing my big suitcase and Thorn had my 2 smaller bags as I carried my jewelry box.

We headed down the stairs and out the front door as they put their stuff in the backseat and I put my jewelry box in the front seat.

I hugged Thorn and he whispered in my ear, "I know I was being a jerk to him earlier, but He's the one for you. I can see it in the way you look at eachother." When we pulled back I smiled at him and he handed me a small box. "Don't open it till your alone." He whispered. I nodded holding the box tightly wondering what it could be.

I turned around hugging my mom again as Luke went to shake hands with my brother but Thorn yanked him into a hug.

"I love you mom." I said not letting go.

"I love you too Claire." She said then we pulled apart and me and Luke got in the car and drove back to his house.

"Just leave your stuff in the car it's late well unpack it all tomorrow." Luke said getting out of the car and running around to open my door before grabbing my hand and walking up to the apartment with me.

We sat down and watched Disney movies dosing off to sleep.

Im so sorry I haven't updated in forever and I fell off the face of the Earth I haven't had any data.
