Chapter 19

Claire's POV

Calum shoved me into his car like I was his baby doll or something. I knew I needed to text someone but Michael, its to awkward right now and Luke, I practically hate his guts and Calum took my phone. I have no parent to support me and not really any friends, so I guess my only hope is to stay with Calum.

It was about a 5 minute car ride to Calum's place, and I'm not gonna lie, its huge! Anyways, he had pulled into his drive way, Luke was in Ashtons old driveway across the street and hopefully he hadn't saw me but I guess it's too late for that.

Luke came rushing over and Calum said get out, and we ran up to his house and got in before Luke had reached it.

BANG! BANG! BANG! Is all we could hear from the door non-stop.

"Why am I here?" I finally said.

"You're here because we are about to play a game." He said with a smirk appearing on his face.

"What type of game?" I said cautiously.

"Ever heard of Never Have I Ever?" And again another smirk appeared on his face. "Shall we bring in Luke for this game? We shall." Saying without even letting me get out a sound.

With that he walked over to the still banging door and opened it. Like Luke always does, he starts yelling.

"Why's Claire here? I told you not to get her involved in this." And on and on and on about some other weird shit I don't know about.

He finally calmed down, we started to play. "5 Fingers up" gosh what's with all the smirking I thought.

Calum started. "Never have I ever kissed my best friend." I'm done with all these smirks he's giving off.

I put my thumb down.

Again he started. "Never have I ever took money from a acquaintance" smirk again. " thinking she thought she could fleet the country."

Another finger of mine went down and Luke stared getting angry.

Then Luke started. "Never had I ever had to threaten someone in order to keep his family alive."

Calum put a finger down.

"Did I mention that the loser dies?" Luke started freaking out but I didn't. I don't care if I die.

Calum started again. "Never have I ever kissed another guy while I was in a relationship."

I now have two finger left before all my worries are gone.

Luke started again. "Never have I ever, gotten a girl pregnant and left her." Now a smirk appeared on Luke's face while Calums finger went down.

Calum again said "Never have I ever said I'd rather have Luke die than my mom." And no matter how hard it was to put my finger down, I did.

It hurts to think about how much this is hurting Luke. How does Calum even know about this stuff. I just want it to be all over. One finger left.

I finally thought of one. "Never have I ever made people play a stupid game where they die in the end." We all know who's finger went down.

My last finger went down. Luke, now sobbing and Calum not giving a shit pulls out the gun.

It's finally gonna happen but Calum gives Luke a chance to say what he has to say.

Here's how it went: "That day you tried to kill yourself, because of me, I was trying to figure out what to get you for your birthday. I know you don't like Sophie so I asked one of my good old friend even though she's apart of her 'gang' but she was a good person. Anyways, since she's a girl and she likes girly things I thought 'Maybe she will know something I can get you because all my ideas were stupid and a embarrassment.' She gave me a really good idea to take you to all your favourite places then give you the necklace your mother gave me to give you on your eighteenth birthday. I was trying to stop you and tell you why I was with her when I saw you but you left to quick and I couldn't stop you. Did you know I was the one that called the ambulance? Did you know that Michael almost beat me to death? Do you know that Michael just wants you to himself? All of its true. I just want you to know that. And this, I. Love. You. And always will."

Tears came pouring out of my eyes like Niagara Falls. I knew deep down that I love him. But Michael? Did he really do that after all I've done for him?

Calum pulled the latch back and I thought this would be the end, until I heard a jiggle at the door. I thought "who could this be?" and it was Calums mom.

"CALUM THOMAS HOOD! You better put down that gun right now! You can not go around killing people. You are a disgrace to the Hood family!"

Luke was probably thanking God that he wasn't able to pull the trigger and in hopes that I would give home a second chance. And he might just get a second chance.

A/N sooooooo.... it's been so long and I'm so sorry I haven't updated but I've been so busy with softball and marching band practice that I haven't had time to do anything, tbh I didn't even write this so everyone thank Kayla_0227
