Chapter 7: Change

"I feel something strange about you" I stared at the hooded figure standing before me.

"Do I know you?" The figure replies, "I don't have time for you"

Her voice is definitely a female one.

She tried to pass beside me but I managed to grab her in the shoulder which make her hood fall off. Then our gazes meet.

She has brown eyes and short brown hair. It also looks like she's the same age as I am.

She slaps my hand away then ignores me.

"H-hey!" I followed her, "I'm sorry about that"

She didn't answer and started running at a fast pace. Well, it looks like that she was running away from me and we actually caught up to the group in a matter of minutes.

"Rei! You're pretty fast, not bad" Killua praised me then looks at her, "Is that person the reason you stopped?"

"Yeah, I thought she was someone I knew" 

"Oh, Rei! You found another friend?" Gon also looks at her.

"Mmmm..." Killua slowed down, "Hey, how old are you?"

"I don't know..." 

Her voice is much different when she's talking to me earlier

"Then, how about your name?"

"...Frisk..." She answered.

"Killua" Killua said back.

"And I'm Gon!" Gon suddenly joined.

When I heard her name a thought suddenly strikes me. There's no chance that there's someone named Frisk in this world, or is it?

I didn't try to talk to her because I pissed her off earlier.

Killua and Gon kept talking with each other they also casually ask me or Frisk questions while we are running. Anyway, we're almost reaching 80 km and reached the stairs in no time.

"Hey guys, wanna race this one?" Killua said while smiling, "The loser will buy us all dinner"

"Sure!" Gon and I answered at the same time.

We both looked at Frisk.

"You too Frisk!" Gon said with a closed smile and Frisk replies with a nod.

"Ready... Go!" We all said simultaneously except for Frisk.

We all ran and speed up and we already caught up to Kurapica and Leorio. 

"See you at the goal Kurapika " Gon said sweetly.

"Keep up!" I said to both of them.

"Catch you later , old timer." Killua grins while looking at Leorio.

"I'm not old! I'm a teenager just like you guys!"

"Huh!?! No way ! " The four of them including Frisk was completely shocked and I was holding back my laughter.

We were already running for 30 minutes and it's getting boring.

"Are we there yet?" I let out a sigh.

"Not yet" Gon laughs at me.

"I'm actually impressed that you three can keep up with me" Killua said while keeping up his pace.

"Really?" Gon gave Killua a big smile.

"Of course, I've never slacked off since the day I defeated you" I smirked
