Chapter 4: Meet-Up

6 years later

In the end, I left after I reached the 201st floor. I felt the need to train since ever since I have been comfortable with the bed and foods in the arena. Although I really wanted to slack off, I still need to be strong enough to do everything I want.

And so for the past 6 years, I secluded myself and trained far from the outside world. Well, not far from Hisoka though. He managed to track me down and he visits every once in a while. I never thought I'd see something like that from him.

From time to time, we do some actual combat, and boy, my strength still sucks a lot. But, somehow I managed to ACTUALLY cover that weakness. How? Well, with Nen.

Since I discovered that I'm a specialist unlike Hisoka's who is a transmitter. I was able to alter my affinities and made a technique that I named myself which is the Limit Breaker. Just like the name implies, it breaks the limits of what a normal specialist can do and for that matter, I can use other Nen than belongs to the category. Pretty much so, I became an all-rounder.

I was able to use enhancement which covers my weakness in strength. It also enhances everything aside from strength and I can also bring much more than 100% which I haven't done yet but I'm sure I can do so. I call it Wrath. 

Next is transmutation, for some reason, this one became overpowered. I was able to slow time everything around me within 5 feet and that's the limit. Hisoka said that he can't feel or see the aura of it whenever I use it and even praised me for it. I call this one, Time Barrier.

Conjuration, my all-time favourite. I can materialize things from the darkness like a sword, a spike, or even clothes. It does have durability and when it breaks it disappears. My favourite thing about this is that I can make a small domain and drag people into it. Since it's pure darkness inside I have complete control over it, nobody can enter and nobody can leave unless I decided to do so. This is Complete Control. 

Emission is the simplest of them all. I can separate my aura and employ it through weapons and things. My aura had a simple effect when I do this, it can cut through another aura with ease. I tried this one with Hisoka's bungee gum and it was too good. I actually don't know what I should call this one, but anyway I called it Negation. 

Lastly, manipulation. This one is the most complicated one, I don't know the conditions but it can copy Nen abilities, and for now, I copied Hisoka's Bungee Gum. I still don't know if I can copy powerful abilities since the conditions are still hidden and I don't think I can use it freely. But, I'm definitely sure that my manipulation ability isn't the same as Illumi. I call this one Copy Paste.

My naming sense is so bad that Hisoka teased me about it for the past 6 years. But, I do think that they are cool names.

Well, it's time to go, I need to meet up with Gon and Killua.

Thinking back now, what if Killua didn't meet with Gon because I fought with him? Shit, I might have altered the future! If Killua won't be in the hunter exam then I will drag him with me!

I also come to the realization that I still have no friends and all I have is  Hisoka, what a lonely person I am. But, at least I'm powerful enough now! I can defeat Hisoka and maybe Illumi too.

And so, I went to Whale Island and I'm pretty excited since I'll get to travel to different places. I was amazed at the boats, I'm not a fan of them but it's been so long since I went out and see these kinds of things.

I boarded a huge ship and saw a familiar figure. A boy with spiky hair, of course, it's Gon. But, I got nervous and decided not to talk with him for now. I'm also currently wearing a hooded cape since I'm uncomfortable in places with lots of people.

Since I got bored, I looked around the ship feeling excited. This is my first time riding one. While I was exploring the ship I bumped into a man.

"Hey! Watch out where you're going!" He angrily looked at me.

"S-sorry" I immediately apologized.

Of course, the current me is an introvert who only hangs out with his brother. I'm no good at these things.

"How would you compensate me!?" He shouts out loud

"For bumping into you?" I asked.

"You tried to rob me!" His voice is getting louder and louder.

Looks like he's attracting a crowd and since I'm wearing a hood, I look suspicious.

"What's your evidence?" 

"Evidence!? Hah! Thieving scums like you asking for evidence?! What a joke" He begins to laugh.

The crowd seems to be getting bigger and I can hear them whispering.

"That person is a thief?"

"Should we get the captain?"

"Maybe we should throw that thief off to the sea"

I let out a sigh, I tried to calm down my nerves. Because I wanted to shred this man into million pieces.

"Now, now how would you compensate me?" He was about to grab me.

I intended to cut off his hand and his head the moment he touches me. I hate these kinds of people the most.

"Uncle, if you can't show any evidence then I can also call you a thief!" A voice came from the crowd.

Gon stepped out.

"Uncle!? You brat dare to get involved here!?" The man's face sure is annoying, "Get lost before you get hurt"

"But, unlike you. I happen to have a piece of evidence!" He suddenly holds a pouch of money, "I saw you take this from another person"

"Hey! that was mine!" A man in the crowd suddenly shouts.

The man who tried to frame me suddenly runs away but we're on a ship so he was caught so easily.

"Thank you, you saved me a lot of trouble there" I bowed my head a little.

"No biggie! I'm Gon Freecs!" He holds out his hand.

I removed my hood and we shook hands.

"Rei, Rei Morow"
