A few weeks later, I was once more able to enter a lucid dream. On this occasion, I was near a village on a fine, sunny day in early spring. I was walking along the road with my wife and, right in the middle of our conversation, I realized that I was dreaming. This time around, however, I could immediately feel my concentration slipping, and my mind growing tired of the strain. People who had been idling nearby began to disperse, so I started speaking to the snovid who had been my wife a few minutes ago.

She was quite accommodating and agreed to talk to me about dreams. We left the road, heading down an embankment towards a meadow that was flooded by an overflowing stream. Slowly, through ankle-deep water, she lead me towards a weeping willow, visible at the other end of the meadow. Beneath the willow's newly green crown. She asked a question that took me by surprise.

- How far have you come in achieving the "individual perfection"

She spoke these last word in perfect English.

- With what? I don't know what that is.

- "Individual perfection".

Calmly, she repeated what she had said. I tried to translate and memorize these words in my mind as best as I could, but the question itself remained incomprehensible to me.

- Let me put it this way: How much progress have you made in accumulating enough energy for your lucid dreams? I can see that it is not high enough right now.

She was right, my energy was not only low, it was practically gone. The world around me began to slowly lose its color, finally plunging me into darkness with only her voice remaining. However, I could not listen now. All my focus was spent on remembering the words "Individual perfection".

Thenext morning, I woke up cheerful, and while these words were still spinning inmy head, I decided to see, if I could find a translation for them. Using atranslation program, I could find them easily: Individual perfection - individualexcellence. The translation program even pronounced it exactly the way I hadheard it in that dream. It fit so perfectly! Her question made sense now.Indeed, what had I been doing for my individual perfection? How could Iincrease my focus?
