Chapter VI : SHOCKING SURPRISES

So we slept in harmony.

Oh scratch that, Chi min slept in harmony.

I mean, how am I supposed to sleep with all those snoring of Chi Minh??!!

I think, everyone's having a good night except me.

I was asleep for about 15 minutes. Finally!!

When my phone suddenly rang.

Dang it! Who the heck would call me in this time?? For Pete's sake, its 2 in the morning

"Hello," I said in a hoarse voice

"Hi son!" She said with full energy. Psh.

And speaking of early morning? She hasn't go to sleep yet?

"Mom, I'm sleeping just call some other time."

"No, you listen. You will come to our company this 3 pm. We are having a meeting. Your presence is highly anticipated." Well, this is something new.

"I'm not a member in the board."

"I know. It's about you." What is it this time? I didn't do something wrong.

"Huh?"

"Just come. Okay?"

"But-"

"I'll be waiting. Bye! I'm heading home now. Just don't be late. Night! Sweet dreams. Love ya!"

"K mom. Likewise."

After the call, I went back to sleep and enjoy my remaining hours of it.

When I woke up, Chi minh was still asleep and I went out to take some shower. When I went out of the shower, Chi minh was finally awake.

"Dude you're too early for Saturday." He said while rubbing his eyes.

Must be taking off his morning dirt. You know what I mean.

"Oh you're awake! What a miracle. You know Chi Minh, men like me who has the brain and the looks has an instinct to wake up early. Unlike you."

"That was a joke right?"

*MOMENT OF SILENCE*

"Pfffftt. You should have seen your face. Hahaha."

"Just shut up Tashisu and let me borrow your cellphone for a moment. I'll just text someone important."

"Your girlfriend?"

"Yup." Chi minh replied while smiling.

He really is in love and I wonder how her girlfriend looks like.

"By the way, mom called me at exact 2 AM."

"For what? No offense bro, but isn't that too early for a wakeup call?" Chi minh said while stretching his body on the couch.

He really feels like home.

"I don't know. She just told me to go to the office this afternoon. Seems important."

"Maybe they're entrusting the company to someone and they need your opinion or maybe they planned to sell the company to you!!"

* DOUBLE FACE PALM!*

When Chi minh is this stupid, one face palm is not enough.

How did Chi minh even reach college with this mentality? And how did their relationship with her girlfriend last so long?

When I think about things like this, it just makes my head ache and in the end, there are no answers to be found.

"Chi minh, we own the company." I explained to Chi minh hoping that he would understand.
