A hum escaped one of the people as they arrived at the place. The hall was pretty quiet alongside with the darkness it brought. Another person gulped before calling out.
"Hello? We're here-"
The lights suddenly flashed on as confetti danced down from the ceiling.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
