Chapter 37

8: 49 p.m

" You know what..you are really starting to get on my nerves" I said folding my arms across my chest. Shawn and I were sitting out on the front porch

" Why? Because it's the truth" Shawn said looking at me.

" No it's not" I pouted.

" Bee you're huge! Face it, you're huge and there's nothing you can do about it" he laughed.

Tears filled my eyes, as I managed to stand up and walk to the front door "You don't have to be so mean about it," I said starting to cry. I walked through the door and managed my way to the bedroom, with my feet spread wide. Ugh I walk like a fucking duck.

" BABY-" I heard Shawn yell after me, I rolled my eyes and sat down on the bed. He came in and stood in front of me. "I was just playing with you."

I grabbed a pillow and swung at him "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT."

He shrugged and patted the crotch of his jeans and sat down next to me "Im blessed is all...you forgive me?"

"I guess so...after all, I might need you tomorrow in the delivery room."

"You really think you're gonna have this baby on my birthday?"

"Yes I do. That's what the doctor said."

"Aight, imma let you believe that. Anyways lil duck, I'm going to take a shower you stay put" As he stood up, I kicked him in the back of the knee, making him fall on his face. I hate that damn name. Lil Duck.

"Call me that shit again,and i'll cut you in your sleep" I laughed evilly.

He rolled over and looked at me "Oh you lucky you're pregnant, otherwise, I'd throw you in the pool outback."

"You mean, the way I pushed you in for calling me fat!" I laughed and he got up off the floor.

"You know what? I don't like you anymore." he said walking off "When this baby comes, I'm kicking you out. You not allowed to live here anymore" I heard the shower water cut on

I was in the bedroom dying. Nigga is stupid "BABY" i yelled

"What"

"I gotta tell you something important"

"Well you gotta wait, my water is ready" I heard him pull the shower door back and then closed it. I stood up and walked to the bathroom. I opened the door and stuck my head in.

" Baby" he jumped and turned towards me " What are you jumping for"

" You scared the shit out of me"

" Yea yeah yeah...whatever, just make sure you make it to the bathroom okay"

He flicked water on me " Whatever...what do you want to tell me"

I thought about it and then it came to me " Oh yeah. I wanted to tell you that I love you"

He got a small smile on his face "Come here" he held out his arms and tried to hug me, but I gave him a gentle kiss instead "you busy" he asked trying to kiss me again

"No not really"

"Come get in with me"

I shook my head " No, I don't want you to see me pregnant like that"

He poked his bottom lip out "Please baby, I promise I won't say nothing"

" Alright, I'll be back" I went by the sink and got undressed and waddled back toward the shower. I tapped on the door and Shawn opened it, holding his hand out. I accepted it, and he helped me in and onto the mat that prevented slipping in the shower. I leaned up against the wall, while Shawn stood in front of me. He leaned in and kissed me on the lips, letting his lips linger on mine a bit.
