Chapter 9

Dejanae's POV

Me and Aaliyah got back from the mall after she chewed me out on my clothes she bought me a whole new wardrobe, we had finished putting away my clothes and were at Aaliyah's house.

Dejanane: That's Aaliyah, but you really didn't have to buy me any clothes I was fine with the ones I had.

Aaliyah: Child no one should be fine with those clothes, I can't believe you met Jayden like that.

Dejanae:that was the only really cute thing I had besides beat up jeans and Old  tank tops I mumbled

Aaliyah: Well you have nothing to worry about now your Guardian Angel has taken care of it.

Dejanae: thanks

Aaliyah: so tell me about your date, I wanna hear everything.

I told Aaliyah how everything went she would interrupt me with an aw or and oh which always caused me to chuckle as I came to the end of my story Aaliyah's phone went off, She looked down and sighed before answering.

Aaliyah: Hello

Aaliyah: no, just hanging out with Dejanae

Aaliyah: What time?

Aaliyah: Alright we'll be there

she hung up the phone and looked at me with pleading eyes.

Dejanae: what?

Aaliyah: Damion's gotta basketball game today and I gotta go

Dejanae: So where do I come in??

Aaliyah: I don't wanna go by myself, so you wanna come with me?

Dejanae: Aaliyah you know basketball games aren't my thing

Aaliyah: they aren't mine either but I still have to go and if he's making me I would love to at least bring my best friend with me.

Dejanae:  Alright but you owe me

Aaliyah: girl you know I got you

 Me and Aaliyah started getting ready I put on some ripped blue jeans, white shirt, and black and white jacket with some chuncks. Aaliyah wore something similar to mine just red.

Aaliyah: Ready to go sunshine

Dejanae: yah let's go 

The car ride consisted of how hot we looked in our outfits, I was so glad the drive wasn't long cause it I had to hear how "Aaliyah is such a saint for buying me clothes" on more time I would end up strangling this girl.

Still new to this whole  clothing and new girl image I was reluctant to go inside but Aaliyah grabbed my hand and literally dragged me inside. the gym was packed with students and loud with buzzing mumers Aaliyah found  a spot close to the bottom we got situated and talked until the game started. 

??: Well look what the dog  dragged out of the trash girl

I turned to meet a fake grin plastered on Kinsley's face

Aaiyah: Now did the dog drag us in after you cause i thought I smelled some shit behind us Dejanae

Aaliyah has a no filter flaw in her which never seems to disappoint me, I began to chuchkle which was a bad move cause Kinsley decided if she couldn't get Aalyah she could certainly get me.

Kinsley: And what are you laughing at, I see nothing funny Damage

Aaliyah: It's Dejanae dumb thot.

Kinsley gave the evil eye to Aalyah but quickly turned back to me 

Kinsley: Opps, my bad well Dejanae I was wrong I did find something funny, you know Friday when you so dramatically left class cause of little old me. I had a friend who had just went outside to smoke and saw you hanging by Aaliyah's car.
